Who knows? Mr. Hbbb declared her a lesbian chicken much to the amusement of the students who clearly know all the useful words in their dictionaries! I have her at a mildly confused possibly trans-gender, because one !!!!-a-doodle doo or vagina-doodle-do does not a lesbian make, I don't think but then I'm no egg-spert in the curious world of hens!

Just about to submit this and wondering how many of these very necessary and contextual words will make it through the filter. I know Al slipped a vagina on here successfully but they probably know she's a science bod and science bods only use these words in context and for serious scientific purposes. Let's see shall we ...?

Edit after submission: Yup, clearly onomatopoeic descriptions of a cockerel's normal crow is too rude to be out there!

I can't believe some of the words I now have on my thread!

MFW actions:

* Useful bit of paper from Royal Bank of Want-to-be-independent-nation confirming the drop down once again and breaking down where they expect us to be over the next few years, in line with the original 2024 end date of the mortgage.
Little do they know, mwa ha ha, that the £97,546 they have us to be at by August 2015 will be my new target for March 2015!

Bally tired, hoped to take tomorrow off but still have work to do as meeting with client today took up longer than expected, although ...

Silver Lining:

She's a lovely client and she bought me lunch, so it was kind of like taking time out to have a lunch and catch up with a friend, so that's a bit like time off anyway!

Daily Declutter:

Again, nope. But the weekend will see miracles. Honest.

Simple pleasures:

* Store cupboard tea of bean chilli (with chorizo for the meat eaters around here).
* Going to have me a nice shower and proper down-time before bed tonight.
* My face is now much more like a face and less like a colourful baboon's backside.
* Visitors, you're great you are!

Glad to hear the mozzie bites are subsiding. I forgot to say, whenMr Goldie got bitten on holiday, his hand ballooned. We only just about managed to remove his wedding ring.

But all his bites have now subsided, until the next time

I haven't caught up on diaries for a few days and have to say was slightly startled by the lesbian chicken references, I'm ok now I backtracked a little and read some of the previous pages entries!!!! Hope the chickens are behaving themselves a little more for you now.

If surreal is an everyday approximation for most days, I shall have to think of another word to sum up today!

Gladys, the Houdini of hens has escaped yet again (even though Mr. Hbbb put another foot height of chicken wire on the gate ... the only point at which she can fly over)!

I let her have a little mooch whilst I got down to work, but all the time I couldn't get away from the feeling I was being watched ...



And this wasn't even the maddest part of the day!
