Well, the effect on Mr. Hbbb today seems to be somewhat out of this world ...but then it was a Madras curry we made with them!
Just realised, I forgot to use my multi-quoting superpowers here! :doh:Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Thanks for the chook advice - I won't be getting them in this country but I am almost certain to when we move abroad.
I'll be messaging my chook advisers daily no doubt

Thanks Tilly, I must remember that I now have this power and not be afraid to use it!;)
Not sure whether chooks in other climes are as demanding of a morning or what variation there is between chooks of different backgrounds ... I will see how the new ex-batts compare with lairy pair and let you know as these poor little loves won't even have seen sunlight really!
I love that you've moved from "maybe I will" to "I am almost certain to..." and we shall be happy to be consulted, we bird brains must stick together! :rotfl:Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Mixed weather day, good progress all around though ...
What I did:
* Lots of work (although still not quite as much as I had wanted to really) ... starting to feel a bit pressured so must really focus next week when Mr. Hbbb is back at work, he is proving a bit of a distraction in a "can I just ask ..., have you got a mo ...?" kind of way!
* Last push with top coats to skirtings and first coat of floor paint onto bedroom floor. One more coat tomorrow then I'm done in there and can start on the hall!
What I didn't:
* Successfully contact person I needed to talk to at uni about the fact its the last working day of the month and I still haven't been paid a bean from them yet! As paid employment it's proving harder to get paid for my services than from my freelance clients :mad:MFW action:
* NSD
* Language school mailed through contracts for two pairs of students from end June through to end July ... all of which helps clarify my cunning plan for MFW focus in the summer. Just need to cogitate on this a little longer then will probably put this up tomorrow to keep me focused.
* Letter re: old post office account I've tracked down, to inform me that my account has £4.98 in it which will be passed on, plus interest once I return said form! May pay off the mortgage with the interest, of course :rotfl:Grey clouds:
Stepped back to admire my handiwork with bedroom floor painting (having successfully remembered not to paint myself into a corner) ... window on farthest wall from door was wide open to allow for paint fumes / drying etc, then Mr. Hbbb lit a bonfire, so fresh room is not so fresh at the moment.Silver Lining:
Saturday tomorrow ... whole day off to be had!Daily declutter:
Relisted item a Freecycler hadn't turned up to collect, a lovely older gent asked for it instead and turned up promptly and pleasantly, so another item gone 168 / 365!Simple pleasures:
* I can do the bubble multi-quote move thanks to Tilly!
* Rose arch is coming on a treat ... white blooms are all out now, but it will all have changed by next week as the purple ones are on their way ...
Happy weekend everyone xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Thanks Tilly, we do work hard (but frugally) to keep it looking nice!
What you can't see though is the messier productive end of the garden and of course the hen's end of things, I shrewdly had my back to all that for the photo!Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

That's not just any old archway, that's almost a tunnel! Anyhow, it's beautiful!
Dd asked for roses in our garden, so I pointed her to the three rose bushes in the front! Butno, not good enough - she wants roses in the back. At least she's agreed we can wait until we replace the fences...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
