Funny old day and weird old evening, very cold, windy and autumnal!MFW actions:
* NSD 1 / 7 (trying to go for a whole week without spending) as I can't see that I should need to, especially without Mr. Hbbb here for 3 days to gripe about it!
* Had some payments through and also paid over extra from reduced mortgage interest etc and had a good sort out of accounts and have made first AA MOP ...
AA day 7 / 100 = £ 400 / £2 ,000.Grey clouds:
* Still waiting on a client payment which is once again 'stuck' in the system. This will be the cash I'll need for September's food etc so another reason for the aim of 7 NSDs as I don't know how long it'll take to come through!
* Clients who email through at gone 5pm on a Friday with an attachment they say they want to ring you about first thing on Monday, thereby implying that you'll spend the weekend looking at it in your own time, not under contract and therefore not billable hours! I could almost be grumpy about that, but it wouldn't be seemly.Silver Lining:
Youngest Hbbb-bobbin popped up to collect his post and parcels today (he has parcels delivered here as his flat has a communal hall where packages go missing) so we had a nice brunch together, lovely surprise!Daily Declutter:
Very frustrating time with WeSupposedlyBuyBooks ... I put over 30 titles in and they didn't want any of them :eek:
A whole shelf has been decluttered but they are in a stack on the floor in study now! Need to think about what to do, will make a decision tomorrow.
Total at the moment still at 281 / 365.I suspect I may declutter the remainder of Mr. Hbbb's bottle of white wine very shortly too!
Simple pleasures:
* I've managed to successfully catch up with 2 / 3 sons this week, which always helps to settle me a bit!
* Just going to snuggle hens for the night then have me the luxury of a nice bubble bath without fear of anyone else needing to use the facilities the minute I sink below the surface!
* Wearing my granny slippers with no one around to moan or laugh at me!
Hope everyone is OK and is all set for a great weekend! Hugs if you need them (())

Sorry to hear about the WeDon'tWantYourBooks site. Have you tried zapper or fatbrain?
Have also noticed the chill, but mostly caused by having to have the front door wedged open while dd plays out on the green!
Well done on the £400 . That means that you are 1/4 of the way there already! Wowzer!
Am currently turning bunny arms and legs the right way round. I know how to rock it on a Friday night!

:cool: And the to do list ...?
* Work (approx 3 hours)
Took longer as littlest bobbin arrived, so I had an early lunch break with him and lost my place with work, about 4 hours spent in the end.
* Dog walk
Short and brisk as all feeling a bit jaded from bad night and strange group in small park has swollen in numbers (and dogs) ... I try not to be intimidated generally but just didn't have the energy to play their games today!
* Finish 33 items wardrobe quest; sort through all other clothes and bag up decluttered clothing for clothes4cash or Fleabay (decision to be made there)
Final total is 45 due to additional bits for multiple clothing change days where I get wet / mucky from hens / dogs / general ineptitude! Decision still to be made over decluttered clothes.
* Sort yarn stash and organise project piles to start Xmas gift making (as I've recently been reminded that Xmas is coming) Started, will finish tomorrow.
* Sort store cupboard and make list of dry goods needed to top up for winter stores etc. price up using My S'market and AF to find most cost effective way to top up.
Started, will finish tomorrow. Have done provisional menu plan for September and did start to check prices but fell at first fence with AF ... is it me or is it more expensive than it used to be? I haven't used it for about a year though and was a bit shocked! I may still get some bits there though as it's 10% off via Quidco which is useful.
* Check for client payments, do online banking, spreadsheet shuffle and make a MOP!
All done except for missing client payment, grrr!
* Housework
Some, more tomorrow!
* Laundry ... whilst the sun is shining!
Achieved, 3 loads done, out to dry and back in again, despite threatening clouds all day!
Hope everyone else has had a productive day! x
Happy Friday! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Are you serious A*M these sound suspiciously like something from your workout routine? :rotfl:
Have also noticed the chill, but mostly caused by having to have the front door wedged open while dd plays out on the green!
Lovely to be making the most of the last rays of summer sun! Good on her for the playing / you for putting up with the draught!
Well done on the £400 . That means that you are 1/4 of the way there already! Wowzer!
This MOP has felt like a long time coming, I've been jiggling things about for a couple of weeks and suspect September will be a whole month of jiggling (again back to your workouts)!
Am currently turning bunny arms and legs the right way round. I know how to rock it on a Friday night!
Rock and roll A*M ... have been on granny squares myself, am doing a cheeky 100 day challenge with them too!
Enjoy your few days without Mr Hbbb. x

Thanks A*M, he has texted to say all arrived safely but that he'd rather be with me than his mates! Not sure that it's entirely true but do appreciate the sentiment! Although he did have the morbid fear that one of the others was going to hire bicycles for them ... if he's arrived to that then it's definitely true that he'd rather be here ... he and small scruffy dog both hate cycles! Whereas yourself ...! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Bath = taken
Teeth = cleaned
Taking easy = as instructed, thank you for your kind wishes both
Sleep = misplaced so far but I'm onto it! Background sounds of cat fornication, with effect of this on next door's sensor light flashing off and on like a disco is not helping ... what is going on with all that, anyone would think it's spring? Still neighbour might give me a kitten as surely one is on it's way by now, it's been two nights (happy thought, kitten, not shenanigans obviously)!

Oh Alchemilla, that's rough, is that why your post time is so mad?
I can't sleep well when Mr Hbbb's not here and I can't take the full dose of my meds as I wouldn't be aware enough if anyone (dogs) needed me or roof fell in etc. to be fair though, I don't necessarily sleep well when Mr Hbbb is here as he makes extraordinary farmyard noises and plays rugby in his sleep!
I was reading and writing till about 2 am and so tired by then from previous night that I fell asleep with light on. Awoke 3.45 and switched it off, awake again at 6 to get hens up and give them brekkers, now back to bed with coffee and decision to make ... Try to snatch a couple more hours or just start my day!
I really hope you get the chance to catch up your long night, it's not like I have little ones to run around after ... Just the luxury of making my own decision about things ... you're probably up again already seeing to all your little people (or early bird DS at least), hope you get some rest and an easy weekend. xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!
