Hope everyone is OK ... happy hump day on a pretty odd week ... anyone else completely thrown by the BH Monday?

    ;)MFW actions:

    * NSD - number 4 in a row.

Nothing else achieved, I could have been doing the spreadsheets but chose to have a quick catch up on here instead and will do that tomorrow when I have some money to shuffle about too!

    100 days AA 5 / 100 = £0 / £2,000
    :o

    :(Grey clouds:

Tired ... erm, A*M, I guess an "I told you so" is on the cards!

    :)Silver Lining:

Hall is almost finished, may not have to give the walls another coat so at least I can focus on work properly tomorrow.

    :pDaily Declutter:

Nowt shifted today but am planning a wardrobe clear out to change my 33 items for the changing seasons. Will probably start this on Friday when Mr. Hbbb bobs off for his break.
I've also started going through the book cases to eliminate old books in the direction of WeBuyBooks (thanks to A*M's thread). Will make a stack and try it at the weekend.
    Total still stands at 281 / 365.

    :D Simple pleasures:

    * Long phone call with eldest Hbbb-bobbin
    * Silly old hens refusing to go to bed ... I guess they're just so relieved it's not raining, they want to stay up!
    * I've put on my 'proper' slippers tonight as my feet (bare) were bally freezing. Looking tres glam (not) but hey, tootsies are warm!
    * Passion fruits are turning yellow! Planning to try to get photos tomorrow, weather permitting!

Hope you've all had a dry day too!

Does your autumn/winter 33 piece wardrobe also include a 'strip it off in the kitchen then throw it hurriedly back on when student's key turns in the front door' option?

    Sweet dreams x

Indeedy, that lesson has been well learned ... items which pull over the head are definitely having preference over buttons, buckles and zips, that's for sure! :p

I've just made a start as Mr Hbbb is on trip planning meeting with his gentlemen friends. Have my items down to 42 but this does include several fleeces and extra leggings as I sometimes have to change twice in a day if I pop the dogs out and we get all wet and muddy, so I'm thinking this minor aberration is allowable (especially as no tumble drier now)?

Found a clothes for cash flyer so may declutter my excess in that direction (apart from summer stuff I am keeping for next summer). Will total up once I decide what direction to send it all in! Will now surf threads some more to see if anyone has used them!

    Sweet dreams too! x

But Dora wanted to get even more up close and personal so you can check out her neck too (shame she didn't clean her dinner from her chops first though)!

Quick, early update as it's a mad day around here and I may not get back to it later on ...!

    ;)MFW actions:

    * No MOPs as still waiting for payments to come through so serious Financial Friday ahead tomorrow!

    AA day 6 / 100 = a painful £0 / £2,000
    must do better!

    And didn't achieve a NSD because ...

    :(Grey clouds:

Preparing ourselves to paint the hall floor - still have some of the colour left from last year's new coat but needed to buy another small tin to do it all ... and found they've stopped doing the colour! So had to buy enough to do the whole floor in another colour. Not very happy as getting it done wasn't supposed to involve any more spends (apart from maybe a small single pot for finishing off and top ups). Went via Quidco but still an extra £50 which could have been a MOP. Sulking a bit ...

    :)Silver lining:

Although I do prefer the new colour (charcoal grey) as this will flow into the slate tiles of the kitchen floor much better and will be a more 'together' look for the hall (£50 squid's worth of together, mind you)!

    :pDaily declutter:

Nowt out but I now have a pile of 30+ books to approach WeBuyBooks with over the weekend!

    :DSimple pleasures:

    * Finally got to spend time in the dry with the chooks (photos as requested Gally)!
    * Nephew came round to help Mr. Hbbb with front garden as Mr. Hbbb now has tennis elbow from garden / decorating.
    * Home grown, home made beetroot soup followed by balckberry sorbet coming up for tea ... a very purple food day indeed!

    Hope everyone's OK! x
