Hi, if you go to the After Auction Log for the item, at the top directly underneath "confirmation email sent to xxxxx" it should say "send payment reminder".

    :)

Thanks, still took me ages to see it, not very easy to locate. I hope my first sale isn't a non paying buyer
  • Hi

Does anyone know of a quick way to go straight to one of your own listings to delete or edit it?

I now have several pages of listings and would like to be able to find a specific listing without having to scroll through all of the pages.

I can't seem to find a search facility that lets me do this.

    TIA

    FFM :)

Hi, If you go to MyeBid> Auctions I'm Running..... in the "Sort" dropdown box at the top you can choose "Auction Title Low -> High", this sorts your listings into alphabetical order

Or........ just do a general search from any page, click on your auction and then edit/close/delete from there

    :)

    Hi BB

Thanks for the reply, your 1st suggestion works better than the method I was using. The 2nd method would be my preferred way of locating my listing to edit it, but although I can go straight to it using this method, there is no option to edit/close/delete from here.

    Hy
I registered for Ebid and was with it for about 4 months then gave up with it. It just dosn't cut it with Ebay. I notice some quotes on this thread have said " don't expect it to be a direct replacement of Ebay " Why not ? Ebid has been going since 1998 so it's not like it's had no time to gain stability.
I know Ebay has issues with selling fees and communications but its ability to shift items cannot be questioned.
Before anyone says 4 months is too short to gauge any real impact, in the first 4 months i was with Ebay many moons ago the results were worlds apart.
From what i can remember there were no listing fees, tell me if i'm wrong, but if nothing sells then you can only value the loss with the time and effort taken listing the things in the first place.

    Hi Skippy2roo

Sorry to hear you have decided to leave eBid Online Auctions! I agree it isn't as fast at selling as eBay but if it is low cost you want and you don't mind it all sitting there (Doesn't cost you anthing to relist items - only pay when you sell!) thwn this is for you.

I have been on there as a seller since last September and I did better at seling my photot cards there than I ever did on Ebay as there is just less competition and I was more likely to get my cards seen.

I am on Gold which I am relunctant to let go off at the moment, and just hoping that things will soon pick up for everyone. The reveamp of the sie makes it look great, and we all hop for great things!:D

The rejiggling of a site does not guarantee results, Who actually markets Ebid ? i read somewhere that it hasn't the financial backing that Ebay has but then you have to question why.
If it dosn't return a credible income, how does it expect to apply any effective marketing ?

I'm sorry it's just not for me but i hope anyone who uses it has sucess, however, if an item dosn't sell on the biggest online marketplace in the world yet sells on Ebid you have to question it's target audience for the larger appeal.

The feeling i got from my time on Ebid was one of " this sites like a corner shop where the locals may go on a sunday " Ebay gives the feeling of " Walking into a massive shopping centre with a vast array of goods to choose from "

    Anyway Good Luck

Got to say I am with Skippy on this one - My trial is going lousy - over a dozen items for sale all at rock bottom prices - MUCH cheaper than I could sell them on Ebay and NO SALES, in fact hardly any views at all.

I am AMAZED Ebid has been going since 1998 - I even looked it up myself because I simply could not believe it - Ebid looks and feels like an unpolished noobie auction site - I imagined it was maybe a year old like Tazbar and so I could forgive its lack of traffic.

To be almost as old as Ebay and in such a bad state is unforgivable and stinks of gross mismanagement by the sites owners in my opinion.

I am well out of it I think........

Bye Bye Ebid...... NOBID more like it.
