I listed over 250 items approx 3 weeks ago, I also have zero feedback - not a sniff - ho hum!

Hi, you can do a normal search, then when the results page comes up there is a "refine your search" box to the right. There's an option there to view closed listings.
Thanks for the info BB.
My closed listings search was not very reassuring, out of 1650 closed listings of books with 'book' in the title, only about 15 had sold.
I will keep trying for a while, 'cos I lose just as much money listing unsuccessfully on Ebay as I do on Ebid, and I am an optimist at heart.

I did a search using "pb" and got approx 1200 results (some of which will be the same books on 3day format) there were 42 sales. But then there will be those that just have the book title and author. It really is difficult to ascertain how many sales there are. Even if you look at busy auctions it doesn't really reflect sales as lots of items are sold without bids via Buy It Now.
I've sold 7 books this month on there which might not be many to some but is quite good for me lol, and it's cost me a grand total of 9p in fees! (for gallery pics)
I have just started to change the format of some of my listings as eBid upload to Google Products 3 times a month. All listings with a BIN or fixed price and have more than 7 days left to run at the time of the upload will show up in Google products. So if you can get your listings on there it should help.
You might be doing it already but a good tip is to let your Amazon customers know you are also selling elsewhere. Have a nosey on the forums, there's lots of selling tips on there and it's a great place to plug your listings. And of course you can always to change to silver if you don't want the monthly sub, there are some changes due soon which will give silver sellers more options.0 -

Yes I have done the same in the past - I looked at CDs which you would expect to be quite poular and are one of the items I am trying to sell (cheap as well incidentally). But only a tiny fraction seem to have closed with an actual sale.
Its a ridiculous site imo.
I tried to log on again this morning and ONCE AGAIN THE EBID WEBSITE IS DOWN !!!
I just get the Cannot Find Server message.
Who on earth is running the place ? !0 -
Seems to be working ok, have just been on

It was down earlier when I tried to log in, but it is back up now.
I have decided to stick with Ebid, even though the results to date for me are a big fat zero. I would like a viable alternative to Ebay and I think that Ebid could be it.
So I shall persevere (is that spelt right)

Hi
Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade a free auction to a gallery auction by adding a photo without closing the listing first?

Hi again, you can't change it to a Gallery Auction through the edit link. You will need to click on "List Similar Auction" (all existing details will be there) upload the pic and click the option for gallery. Once that one is submitted just delete the original listing.
...
Thanks again BB
I shall give it a go after work tonight. Just to let you know I got my first bid on Ebid last night, it closes tonight so I will soon have my first Ebid sale :j :j
