Well it looks like the FTSE is having a wee bump ... good timing for me as my money winged it's way to my account so have made a wee purchase, one that I was planning on making anyway, just now though I get it cheaper so i'm happy with that :) Have started implementing my wee plan of the keeping £100 by a month for times when market timing is appropriate :)

Have managed another wee bit off the mortgage ( only £10) but its more than I had planned, I am now at the waiting for pay day stage before I can do anything else with the finances.

So with that in mind it's back to studying for my exam's next week ... yikes

Boo - it's not bumping as much!

Do your investments settle straight away? Mine won't be locked in until tomorrow noon, so hopefully it doesn't make stellar gains overnight ;)

Mine will do this time, they dont always it depends on what i'm doing this time it's shares so they will ... funds take a while longer :) next month its back to funds again ... i just occasionally fancy a wee punt on some shares to mix my portfolio a bit lol

Finally figured out ( i know i know i am slow on the uptake) take my ones and two pence pieces and use the self scanner at Asna , thankfully i had spoken a certain spicey lady before going ( thanks me dear) who advised me to take some £1 as well as the machine gets fed up with the dross and wants pounds ... so i did ... managed to get rid of most of the change i had taken with me and used the credit card for the rest, I had the coins hanging about for ages waiting to be bagged up but didnt have bags so this was a good compromise and my jar is slightly less full :)

Just checked my credit card and it's YIKES time, have had the prime money refunded thankfully, but we are nearly at £500 for the bill so it's a given that it will take a few months to clear now, oh well it is what it is, but thats most deff a stern learning curve for us.

I should be looking to do some shifts and i keep getting texts asking me to do shifts, however with the exams next week i really cant be doing any shifts, i need to study, have done a bit today but have noticed that my weak point is sociology and if anything that should be my strong point, i've only studied it for years lol
