Oh dear, hope the new trainers survived - are they washable? White and vomit don't go . Hope Jelly is ok tomorrow.
It is absolutely fine to feel disappointed - I've experienced this when I've planned time for myself and then the person who would mean I can have a break has to cancel. I never hold my breath about being able to get time off. Hope you are able to enjoy tomorrow though and work isn't toooooooooo horrendous0 -
Hope Jelly is feeling better and sleeping soundly by now. I also hope she doesn't pass it on to you!
You absolutely are NOT a bad Mummy for being disappointed. I'd 100% feel the same. Puddle jumping will cheer you up though! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hope you've had a a good night, and Jelly lets you have a lie-in. I understand about being deprived of your time alone, so hope you and J have a fun day.
By the way,she wasn't sick on your sparkly new trainers, was she?!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hello all
Off to bed in a mo so flying visit. Thank you all for being so supportive. I was feeling a bit of a rubbish mum, but then woke up this morning and she was there with scarlet cheeks, her hair matted to her head and a raging temp. So she wouldn't have been going anywhere anyway! I had this feeling she had just eaten some play doh or snuck a piece of another childs cheese or something which was why I was so disappointed. In the end we went to the doctors for me, then to the park, puddle jumping on the way, and then home for hot chocolate (soya ofc) where Jelly decided to take it to bed and slept for 3 hours. So I got some down time after all.
She hasn't eaten much today but nor has she been sick. Occasional flashes of a temp but gone down easily with calpol. Tonight for the first time in MONTHS she refused to go to bed. In fact she was 2 hours late going to bed. This tells me the nap earlier was not really required so I know she isn't feeling too poorly.
She was sick on my jeans, her £90 (thanks mum) Winter Coat and her own £26 Clarks trainers. I would have preferred my £5.99 ones instead really :rotfl: - the trainers came up shiny clean in the wash as they went straight in with the coat etc when I got home.
Lucky I have been feeling a bit off colour all day so just hoping not to be ill. Work has put in place a new anti-sickness policy where we will no longer be paid for absence. Stat sick pay only, which means the first week is unpaid. It would look a little suss if I was suddenly off ill a couple of weeks before it came into force.
Night guys. xx

Hi Lilt!
I have been trying to catch up with your diary for a couple of weeks now but I keep getting interrupted. I got to about page 5 and haven't made it further. I am just going to jump in now as if I don't, I will never catch up!
Hope the bugs leave you both soon xxMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Haha!! Welcome GAP! Lovely to 'see' you on here
Sorry it moves so quickly sometimes. To be honest I doubt you have missed much except jibberjabber in the interim. You can both give Him brownie points for somethings he managed throughout the year, and deduct them aplenty for other times.
I appear to have dodged the bug *touches wood* and Jelly went back to nursery this morning after waking up when I was in the shower and banging on her door shouting 'Hennnoooo'. SHe is rather adorable in the mornings. First she stands in the middle of her bedroom, Mr Bear in hand, and gestures at any toys on the floor, with a huge 'Ohhhh NOOOOOOOO! Oh Deeyah, What a mess!' and then proceeds to run at my legs for a hug shouting 'Good morning mummy!' - we then move onto repeated requests for a shower and an explanation of the contents of her nappy. 'Jussaweewee' usually :rotfl: - love my mornings with her. She is so fully of the joys!!
So, did I mention my friend & his wife had their first baby on the 15th?! 9 hour labour, born at 4:15am weighing 8lbs12  Today, he was named, finally! Welcome to the world Sebastian! A nice different nameI like it, but then I am a great fan of unusual names. Unless of course you are my brother and have given your unfortunate child a second name which also happens to be the name of your favourite football team... "Forest"
I am still working on my finances. I think a sea change is needed from January 1st. I might restart YNAB entirely then. Might make sense to do so with my regular saver kicking out then and my buying a new laptop at the same time. A clean slate as such. Off back to work now. Surrounded by PMI quotes for various clients and reports I have been creating and running off for the boss. The problem with being the only one competent enough to use our system to create reports is spending half the week running off variations of the same report over and over again
Tata for now peepities! xx
He still doesn't live here but all is seemingly 90% repaired. I don't want him to move back in because I like the downtime during the weekends and early in the week, and because it seems to work better this way. Jelly doesn't even bat an eyelid and talks to him on Skype/facetime when he is at home, precisely as she does with my mum so they don't miss out on each other!

I am on holidayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!! *happy dance* - also I have discovered alcohol and my amitriptyline do not mix. But when I am behaving like an insomniac (worknights) I have found jaeger shots and said tablets do the trick beautifully. Naughty I know but the doctor told my Pop to have a beer with his tablets
Off to bed. Lots to update and have sorted out my laptops new home for a while.
Shopping list: remind self to do one tomorrow.
And a meal plan. And fess up about the blimmin carp food you bought and scoffed today. Mince pies and it isn't even December. Fat ragamuffin.
xx

I was on Ami for a couple of weeks, first few days I was fine then it was like being hit with the dopey stick, I was a right state and kept zoning out, and that was without alcohol!
Have you got anything planned for your time off or just chilling out?
