Your post made me chuckle SS, although I was then sad to see the time you were up. Hope you start sleeping better soon (I posted on your diary about relaxation / stress management stuff - happy to share if helpful).
I can't even remember what I was just about to say then. Thank god it's Friday hey!
Hope all is good with you lilt and that you're not in too much pain with your back. Also hope Jelly is well and behaving herself.
Off to decide what to do with my frozen ys turkey. By the sounds of it tho, if DH is coming home with shedloads of booze, he might be on a liquid tea. Boo to not being able to drink! xDebt remaining:

Hi Gibby
Was a little later today, so hopefully on the way to a better sleeps. Money worries hey!
The silly thing is that nothing bad has happened yet so I shouldn't be worrying about what hasn't happened yet. So I am trying my best to be very positive.
I have some meetings booked next week with people who can give me some guidance as to what I need to brush up on to make sure I'm as employable as possible. Then I'm going to speak to my line manager and ask for a schedule to be put in place to make sure that I can tick all the boxes. Hopefully it will work!
I really really want to go forwards with my career, perhaps I'm at one of those crossroads of life :A I need to relax a bit and let some things come to me - I'm just getting too tense all the time.
Lol to liquid tea and boo to not drinking. Alcohol makes my hot flushes very very bad so I am avoiding it as much as possible. Booooo.
I've got my frozen chicken out of the freezer and its in the fridge now (£2.54 from Tesco - half price). May be a roast this weekend. I've made my HM bread - now a quick hoover and kitchen floor wash for now.
Have a lovely weekend lovely Gib. xOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Ha!!!!!!!!!!! Have just had tears rolling down my face you swedish speaking, diary hijacking tee-total pair of monsters!
I am soooooooooo sorry I haven't been here. And yet I am not sorry one bit BECAUSE Hopefuljoy came out of lurkdom and that has to be worth lots of quiet moments!HELLOOOOOOOO!!!
I have been popping on and off but haven't found the proper moment to actually sit down and say hi!
Excuse me whilst I just go and remove a roll of tummy skin from my daughters hand and tuck her vest back in  Ok I'm back, unsuccessful.
See Here a few seconds after tucking it back in... She is driving me MADDDDDDDDDDDD! If it is not incessant scab picking from a graze she got at nursery (the pic) then it is removal of her trousers and socks, or insisting on wearing her winter boots indoors on wooden floors. My poor neighbours! I have lost 3 toilet rolls this week to her putting them whole inside the toilet. She has just come back in sporting one less button on her t-shirt. She has been picking at it for hours in between scab picking. And this mornings painting session ended in a whole cup of green water being poured inside my chest table. It is a never-ending trail of destruction!
On the plus side, she walked into the kitchen, asked to be 'Cuggled' this week and then when picked up in the kitchen, pointed to the cupboard and said very clearly "How about a biscuit?" which had me rolling with laughter.
So as you can see, bar the fall from the slide at nursery resulting in the scab, Jelly is on form. I meanwhile have not been sleeping properly, and juggling a few hours broken sleep a night with boiler men, electricians, heating that won't turn off... And work! Been busy...
In the time it has taken me to write the last 3 words, I have made lunch, pegged out a load of washing, changed Jellytot's shoes 3 times, placed a hat on a small head umpteen times, discovered the earlier removed button inside my bra & removed Jelly from being stuck inside the wardrobe. Half a music album has passed...Lol.
So.. yes, all good here. The house is a tip and the bathroom is not to be discussed. I did manage to re-do my budget following my tax credit award notice and for some reason it has dropped further than expected but I don't know why. Still my income is more than I am spending provided that I stick to my budget! And I mean STICK.
Glad that everyone else seems to be having fun. Keep your heads up and stay positive people. In the midst of everything else going on in my life unmentioned in this particular post, there are a lot of positives. Even if they are simply sitting on my bed without my back squawking in agony & enjoying a hot cup of coffee which I finally have the hang of completely without sweeteners or sugar6 months ago I was drinking an average of 10-16 spoons of sugar a day!!!

Love to you allmy weekend is hectic but not so much so that when I have to do my meal plan I won't spend most of it procrastinating here :rotfl:
Soon soon! xx

Hijacking diaries is fun - we can consider ourselves interchangeable anyway
Glad to hear things are ok lilt - sending extra big hugs for the stuff that isn't.
Jelly is sooooooo cute but I am in awe of how you manage the, ahem, more challenging aspectsI'm usually exhausted just thinking about it. Can't wait for my own little bringer of destruction however! (don't get too excited, that's not an exclusive, just a 'hopefully one day')
I'm sure that you'll be brilliantly able to stick to your new budget and I'm very impressed by the sugarless coffee - it really is loads better that way anyway
