Are you absolutely sure that you have the right Jelly? - giving up getting up in the night after just a couple of nights of being beaten by the persil bottle doesn't sound like Jelly!

Hi Lilt, after you popping over to me I realised we do "see" each other about an awful lot on the diaries so I thought it only right that I come over and say hello! I've spent a few mornings reading your diary and really admire you. I love your get up and go even when you're in pain/having HIM troubles (if you had read all of my diaries you will see that I have similar man problems!) and I love the stories of Jelly
.
My dad had a tumour removed just before summer and is doing well now (last I heard!) and it's the second time he's had cancer, although this was the first time of bowel cancer (first time it was skin cancer), He's also very positive and happy and very rarely down about it so it makes it much easier for me to cope with. I hope your brother is ok now? My uncle was in his 30s when he collapsed playing football one day (he was the super fit one in our family) he had had a heart attack and needed a triple heart bypass  however he's absolutely fine now 10 years on and you would never have guessed at how ill he was.
You seem to have an awful lot on your plate and I hope that when your OH moves back in things ease up a bit. P.S, I've subscribed, I hope you don't mind!

*sings* Good morning, good morningggggggggggggggggggggg..
Oh wait, it's afternoon! Hiiiiiiiiii!!
Giblet SO happy to see you back!! Glad things are calmer and more positive for you now!
Peaty Forgot to answer you before. Him moving back in = less money. Him getting better job = less money. It is a sad situation when you are better off working part time in a rubbish job on minimum wage than bettering yourself, working 37.5 hours a week, giving up time with your child eh? I have done every calculation going. The maths is shocking.
Everyone Thank you so much for popping in and your kind comments. I am feeling MUCH more myself today. Mojo returning, cold beaten off with a large stick, box of Turkish delight imitations next to me, snuggled in bed for warmth whilst the beautiful smelling washing hangs out next to the wide open windows to dryad another load just finished in the machine poses a problem as to where it will be dried... :rotfl:
dfw we obviously have the same (excellent) taste in peopleI am so sorry to hear about your dad, but very happy that he is *touches wood* doing a lot better now. Brother is a bit weak and tired, but has lost 11lbs and is feeling much better for that. He had started with a bit of middle aged spread but the illness has put paid to that, as has his limited alcohol intake now. Much better for him! When I was a kid, one of my friends dads dropped down on a squash court of a heart attack. Yet another ridiculously fit person; unfortunately he couldn't be saved. Very very awful time. His two daughters were only teenagers, taking exams a week afterwards!
Jellytot has been at nursery since 9am. I have been and bought her two pairs of brushed cotton proper button up pyjamas. If I find her naked one more time due to her obsession with unpopping poppers I will cry. She can't do buttons yet. Wait and see how long it is before I report in to say she has figured that one out...
Anyways, she was in bed at 6pm, mainly due to being poorly after stealing BUTTER from the fridge whilst I washed the pots, and sneaking off with it to sit in front of the TV, eating it by the handful. Do I need to repeat... she is ALLERGIC. :rotfl: so I quickly shoved ibuprofen down her neck, the tummy cramps came thick and fast, but she just about managed to keep it down, although she suffered for it all. She didn't eat her dinner, and after a shower she just wanted to go to bed, so at 6pm, she was duly in bed. I had eaten my main meal at lunchtime, (tell you about that in a sec ) and so had cheese on toast and ended up going to sleep at the very reasonable 9:30pm. She woke a few times in the night, just murmuring, obviously in pain, & is now constipated... this will not be pretty. I had to go in and wake her after she had been asleep for 14 hours. She was indeed so asleep at 8am, that I had to pick her up before she woke!
After dropping her at nursery and picking up a couple of bits of shopping, I came home and ate 4 slices of pate on toast:o:o that's not healthy is it? - I've got stuffed marrow for tea.. for the foreseeable. Lobby, are you here? No headache!!
It's not my beloved marrow!!! Good job, as in laws did not stay for food I had cooked, hence I now have enough for 3 more meals...
I am honestly fine healthwise. If I was to list it all, it would go on forever and sound very bad, but genuinely, I am lucky. Lots of what I have only comes out when it feels like it, giving me lots of normality in between! I am what you would call a 'spoonie'. Ever heard of that phrase? Peaty too is a spoonie. Someone who looks fine on the outside, but struggles a bit with illnesses people can't see. Unfortunately it runs in my family and my little sister has it far worse than I do. I genuinely think it is down to a PMA. Positive Mental Attitude. I am positively mental, for sure, and I have attitude in spades:D my sister prefers to let these things beat her. I am aware that there is a line, and a point at which you cross whereby you have no choice in whether it beats you or not, but I prefer to restrict that beating to certain days every now and again, rather than every hour of every day. Peaty is very much like me in this, (and a whole lot more ill!!!) so I think the admiration should be going to her, not me. I cope with nothing compared to a lot of people on this planet.
Whats new? Housing Bens have been amended to show my reduced tax credits. Upped by £37 a week. Rang them immediately this morning having received the letter and explained Jellytots shift in nurseries. Had totally forgotten I need to tell them these things, since it is them paying her fees! Honestly, one department does not speak to another! Now they want a letter dropping in and my claim is suspended to stop me receiving an overpayment. For how long who knows. It is a good job I do not rely on this money like my friend does for her rent. The woman on the phone must have thanked me for my 'honesty' about 30 times. It makes you wonder...
New boiler tomorrow! Off work for this, and Jelly at nursery again. As Him is coming over in the morning anyway to cover taking her to nursery (boiler men will be here before I take her) we are going to have a day watching movies on the laptop and ignore the blokes ripping my kitchen to pieces.
Mega post, but I am HAPPYYYY today. Lots of love to all, and new subscribers of course are always welcomexx

Lilt what a lovely post which was enjoyable reading apart from Jelly being poorly - sending her lots of cuddles. Was she okay at nursery? And did I laws turn up in time for collection and viewing of her new nursery! Sleep tight tonight both of you. Xx:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0

Hi guys
Gib wotcha doing awake at this ungodly hour?!
I amn't inspiring. You know, when I was 7 my teacher wrote in my school report "Mean, moody & magnificent" and that was allI am a naughty, tantrum throwing, stubborn monster.
I just use my powers for good not evil these days
Osteopath again tonight. Total of £85 dropped on that so far, and another £40 next week but once it is done, it is done and I can walk fairly straight into my appointment to get my jabs in my spine and hopefully feel a lot better for a long long time (AND I get the money back from works cash plan)- feeling a bit tender tonight, but mainly because he made things click that have not clicked in literally years. Unfortunately he also gave me the news that he is moving to Dublin in October so follow ups will have to be done elsewhere in future!
Jelly slept for 14 hours last night, went to nursery a treat this morning and ignored me once again. On collecting her I had to take a letter from the nursery to the council offices behind my home, and she threw a serious temper tantrum (see above, she gets it from me) - screaming at the top of her lungs and seriously kicking off. Rushed my paperwork through and they have unsuspended my claim, so I don't know what is happening now until it happens. The figures tax credits have given them have dropped to lower than the calculations I got (3 times) so I don't quite know what the deal is there. Will wait for the award then call for clarification if necessary. Anyone else find TC award notices total gobbeldegook? 30 different figures on it, til you don't know whether you are coming or going!
All ready for boiler men tomorrow. Jellys lunch made, kitchen scrubbed down and special cleaner used which repels water and will hopefully make cleaning up after them easier. Also had shower and washed my hair tonight, saving me precious time in the morning as the blokes are here at 8am!
Best get to sleep. Night all, will catch up with diaries tomorrow xx
