HarrysMummy I am Loling at the idea of you scrubbing the plates and trying to pick the knives and forks off them. Would drive me bonkers and my mum wanted to buy me similar. I told her she could get this set as she could boost Nectar points and get it for £15 of points but effectively free. She was happy with this
and bought the extra ones as she knew how much I wanted those type. Have to say it is the only.. Plabowl... Bowlate... Hmm. Anyways they are the only one I eat out of no matter the food :rotfl:
Ruth bless your mum. My mum has the same and my nanny... 90% of my stuff came from my nanny's pantry when I moved out and she still has about a hundred saucepans and lids. Crazy lady. Some are from when she moved in to her house when she was married... She was in her early twenties.. is now 85!! :rotfl:
Thanks for the encouragement peeps. I am suffering from my forgotten meal yesterday morning still. Headache. It is just the niggle so I am leaving it to talk to itself. And drinking LOTS. Have got steak, cumberland sausages and turkey breasts out of the freezer today and will be having a cook off and making my work lunches when I get back from nursery.
Have spoken to YNAB. It has had stern words with me. :rotfl: £331 out that I didn't earn this month. So the emergency fund has probably taken a hit there. Good thing I can swoosh a tonne of cash across there this month, but still... MUST DO BETTER.

Lilty, are they proper cumberland sausages? If they aren't whirly then they don't count as cumberland imo just peppery sausagesCredit card respend 2551.58 (15/02/17)0

Re: Plates and crockery in general.
Why is it that the cheapy everyday ones of which there are only one or two of each set from over the years left, NEVER break, but if you drop something or chip something it is ALWAY one of the "best" set?
