Thanks Gib & Lucky. She woke to murmur at 4:19 but went back off & then again at 6. But she is still asleep now and I am sneaking around ninja style showering etc!!!
At least dinner tonight is halfway done & Him shall be sorting it for when I get home from work! Got to get my brain into gear. Not feeling the love for mega maths today!!
PS: the domestic goddess fairy has strapped herself on to my shoulder with Sellotape this last couple of weeks. Normally she falls off quite quickly!

Evening...
Jellytot was tuckered out this evening. Dinner the second she got home from nursery, followed shortly by pyjamas and bed at 6:30 with not a peep heard. Makes a change after 3 nights of disaster bedtimes.
I have had to rearrange my meal plans a bit to accommodate some going out of date creme fraiche!
more pasta than you can shake a stick at but who cares if it is yummy, reduces wastage and stops me needing to defrost meat?! Found a lovely recipe for lemon, basil & tuna pasta with creme fraiche. Am going to add some mixed peppers, red onion & chilli for a bit of colour and flavour.
I thought I had £2 sat in my drawer at work. It appears to have gone walkabout. I think maybe it made its way back into my purse rather than someone borrowing it. I've got £1.77 in cash in my purse and the eggs man is due tomorrow. We have 2 left from last week. With that in mind, and meals planning away in my head, I am going to ask for half a dozen this week for £1 and save myself the £1. Shame to waste a spend day on £1 but can't be helped.
Have cut my way through a rather large to do list after getting home from work. Silly bits but it all adds up eh. Now, I don't feel that tired but I do feel a bit bummed. Tomorrow I am going to work and my in laws are coming and taking Him and my adorable child out to the zoo for the day. I am happy for her but grumpy at them for arranging this on a day when I am at work, when they are free all weekend too & I have a card to get me in free all year... Am I a horrible person?
So I am going to go to sleep as I don't feel quite perky and sleeping always helps my mood.
Night peeps. Will try and pop in on lunch tomorrow or may just meal plan away myself

You are most definitely not a horrible person - they've been a bit inconsiderate, but probably not intentionally so.

They probably haven't even considered that you would be put out not to be invited. Bet they'd be devastated if they realised.

Hello all.
Sorry I have been AWOL. As some know, my broadband/phoneline/tv was defrauded. Someone rang and told BT I moved home and had my line etc installed at their house. A nifty trick since I have paid a years line rental upfront in the last couple of weeks & everything is paid on DD! I am at day 7 and counting with no internet/tv channels/phoneline. I can't even access my recorded items in my youview box to watch even. So it has been a week of films indeed. I am currently surfing the BT Openzone but it is rubbish and logs me out every 15 minutes which is frustrating when posting on here! Needless to say they will not only be making sure I am reimbursed for the week+ paid for and not received, but also for the hours spent on the phone pushing people to do something about it (I am on my fourth person now & she's a 'priority care specialist') and compensation. Honestly if the products weren't precisely what I want when they work then I would be outta here.
What else has happened? My brother was rushed into hospital. He went to the GP with several issues, only to be rushed straight from there to the hospital. He was having/had had a huge heart attack. A virus has eaten heart muscle and caused the attack. He also had an infection in his bowel so couldn't move hospitals to have an op to check out the damage to his heart until that was sorted. he is being moved tomorrow. He is only 40 and has 2 young kids so this is frightening indeed. He is the healthiest of all of us.
In less scary news, I have received a couple of presents from mummy dearest for Jellytot, both designed to keep her entertained and keep me from strangling her. She is... demanding shall we say, at the moment. If she can't do it/have it/eat it right here right now she throws almighty strops. Screaming ear piercing shrieks, throwing anything within reach no matter it's value or size, lying on the floor headbutting laminate wood... We have tried painting, cooking, baking, playing outside stomping in puddles in our wellies and getting blown around in gale force winds.. all work, for a brief period of time. Meanwhile the housework sits untouched, the place is a tip from her endless strops, and I am exhausted and fraught. Two year olds are hard work!
Foodwise, I have been cooking lots of different exciting new meals. This weekend was the slow cookers turn to play. A big joint of pork, laid on a bed of onions and sliced garlic cloves, in a pint of chicken stock. (Yep chicken?!) with all the string taken off, and rolled around first in a mix of cumin, cinammon, brown sugar, salt and pepper. This became a roast dinner one day, followed by two days of shredded/pulled pork with BBQ sauce. It lasted longer than expected so has replaced another meal which would have come from the freezer. My goal of £130 for groceries may be achievable...
I have also cooked a big gammon joint as a boiled ham, with some cloves, bay leaf, pepper and lemon juice in the water. Very nice, I would normally roast it for 10 mins after basting with wholegrain mustard & honey but have run out of honey so left it plain. It will still be nice tomorrow with sweet potato wedges and salad
Lots of SFD's in the bag. Some exercise but not great amounts thanks to this weather... I am not looking forward to walking to & from work tomorrow. My washing is hanging in my bedroom on an airer by open windows which will keep it smelling fresh but unlikely to dry overnight with this damp hanging. Glad I got bits done when I could and that the towels and bedding were done and dried on a mercifully sunny and windy day!
Still YNAb'bing away. I am very focused. This calendar month, with the child ben, tax creds, housing ben etc that I am 'entitled to' (still find it a joke) I am managing to put away over £800 in savings. This does include the return of the nursery school deposit of £115ish. YNAB doesn't agree that I can do it, but we shall see
I already cancelled my hair cut!
Right, even though I spent half the day napping after a terrible night last night, I still need to get me to bed ready for that early morning alarm clock.
Night diary. Hope to be back soon!

As I said on my diary, I've got everything crossed for your bro.
2 year olds are VERY hard work!!! I remember it well.
As a vegetarian, I can advise slow cooking your gammon joint in (own brand cheap as chips) diet cherry coke. My lot love it. You just pour the liquid off and carve XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I had no idea that internet fraud was a thing (other than you know, patching into someone's unsecure network)! Hope it all gets sorted out soon.
I'm so sorry to hear about your brother, hope he makes a full recovery.
But I'm glad you're not letting everything get on top of you.0
