OMG vic by wrong you mean you messed them up big time... not just haven't given a reading in so long you actually owe that much right...?!?! of course I have a deal
I have deals on everything!
lol. Jelly slept from 5pm till 5 past 8 this morning when I went in and woke her up!! :P pity the bl00dy neighbours dealers were in and out 4-5 times in the night banging doors right behind my head. He has totally completely lost it. I got no sleep, and then when I tried to nap this morning the noise started up all over again. Feeling tired!
Brightspark we are a busy household. I find it very hard to sit still if there is something that needs doing. Unless that something is ironing or meal planning
The weather is mental. it is snailing. Snow and hail... whilst sunny!! I am snug in my bed to keep the heating costs down and am listening to some music and pootling through MSE-land. I've got a lasagne to make but I think I haven't got enough pasta sheets
Dinner is a chicken pienom. Hope Jelly stays awake a bit longer this evening and actually manages some dinner.
Yorks Bank rang me today and have an appointment for someone to call and set up my 7 day switch at 3:30 this afternoon. As soon as I put £1k in there which the switch alone will cover, then I qualify for the £150 and it could be anything up to 60 days for it to be put into the account, but I am not exactly waiting on it to buy foodsometimes you gotta play the long game

Wow Lilt can you send some of your energy my way! I have a pile of stuff to list on eb*y, a house full of stuff to sort into various iles of either eb*y, charity, tip etc..... meal planning gets put even further down the list cos I hate it haha
On a plus note I've just started the switching process to hal!fax, so hopefully my £100 will be winging it's way to me soon. Once mine is done and sorted, I'll persuade hubby to move his over and he can get some pennies too. Just need to remember to swish a bit of extra money in there each month to make it up so I get the reward.
Hope jelly is feeling much better very soon.January 2015 - LBM

Hiya HM!! Great news on the Halifocks and well done you!!
Their limit is less than others, £750 a month in I think, but if you have enough money elsewhere to swish in and out, set up a standing order IN on the first day of the month from your other bank, and then another to send it right back out the next day. I am too impatient to wait a day for it as I would spend a week with the money in one account, then the next, then the next if I did that so I spent 10 minutes on the 29th of each month usually, swishing £1000 between all of my accounts to get the bonuses. £60 a year is not to be sniffed at. Just be aware that if you drop into your OD, even by a penny, you miss the bonus
As for the piles of stuff you've got... do what I do and He-Man them into a cupboard you can't get to without a ladder :rotfl: I really need to sort it out, but not right now!!

Ahhhh the smell of smoked paprika
Tonights dinner is chicken pie with some dirty oven chips and battered onion rings. Didn't stop me prepping an amazing butter bean and chorizo soup. Smells lovely with the added smoked paprika, bit of garlic, tomatoes, onion and stockperfect for work lunches. Already have a vegetable soup in the freezer at work, and leek and potato in the fridge waiting to be taken in. This will round off the week of lunches nicely
Didn't do the lasagne yet, but I figure once Jellytot is in bed I can have a shower and then prep one
Yorks Bank all done. Paperwork being sent out today for signing. Will go back via works franked mail which gets sent very quickly, so hope to hear back from them about the switch shortly. Plenty of time to get it done before the old account stops paying interest.
Hoping this snow stops playing about. Hims train is a pain at the best of times. I need to be very on time for work!!! Don't want to have to leave Jelly with my very lovely fairy godneighbour (one of my very own Levi!

Everyone needs a fairy godneighbour! SO glad you have one too
I am blessed with mine in every way - she is a single 60 something with one son and one grandchild who live very far away, but has so much love and time and wisdom to give we are so lucky to be beside her. She adores LL and also helps me with Ozzy every single day by taking him for a little walk when I'm working, she happily babysits LL (though I try not to ask her too often).. brings us baked goodies. offers to get us shopping, shows me how to cook stuff, puts my bin out, when I forget -- takes my parcels in, runs out and gets my washing if it rains= the list goes on! its like an on tap mum haha
Your dinner again sounds gorgeous. We are having shepherds pie with the veg already mixed in, and bread rolls. x- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

^ Just realised I am probably being rather uncharitable about her age. She is more likely in her 50s to be fair! Not that it matters at all- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

Levi - your fairy godneighbour sounds amazing - you are lucky and just goes to show how much love and attention someone can bring even when they are not related, we should all look out for our neighbours especially if they are elderly, I live in a purpose built block of flats so don't have the luxury but I have asked my neighbour a few times to help me change a lightbulb or fix my toilet so I know I have help I need it, having mobility issues means I can't get into a chair to fix them myself, I am also looked out for if the Fire alarm goes off as it takes me a while to get down the stairs and now the ladies on the ground floor have told me to stay where o am till they know its a real fire as it goes it quite regularly and annoying when I get half way down and it stops, so I suppose havig good neighbours is lovely but I have had the displeasure of having bad neighbours and I was a little worried when I moved in that you can't choose your neighbours but I have done okay, he is quiet and works during the night so I hardly see him. Washing machines just finished now for unloading and reloading the darks - must remember not to let it build up - too much effort used...

Your dinner don't sound too shabby!!
how you manage it with such an early start etc I don't know! I would be living on takeaways!!
My fairy godneighbour is a single 50-60 something, with one son who is a complete broken mess and lives 40 miles away, two daughters who live much further away and her sons little boy she can only see every now and again due to custody arrangements. She adores Jellytot, and would do anything for us. Take today kicking my neighbours door until he answered and then reading him the riot act about his current lifestyle choices. :rotfl: she's only just 5ft if that, but she is a mini whirlwind, and she looks after everyone in the building. Just don't cross her or you will know about it!!

Hi Lilt,
Your neighbour sounds scaryhave the police been involved?
You must be so organised with all of your bank accounts! Does it affect your credit rating if you have multiples? I like the sound of it but my rating can't take any more strain!
Talk of dinner is making me hungry!
