I've been wearing my pjs alllll day. Stars and the mad hatter, boom sexy.
Your account setup isn't very convoluted, I get £5 from a, £8 from b, £8 from c, £10 from d, a bit less from e, unknown amount from f (new), soon to be added (in days) a reg saver and (in months) a new current account.
Just found out that my uncle's cat, whom I used to visit at lunch, has died.0 -
Seems like we are all playing the current account game
think I have about eight, get about £13 a month, not bad for a few mins work...

Loved the book lists, Mallory Towers was my favourite
When we come back from my Dad's the first thing I do is strip off, put everything including overnight bag in the washing machine and have a bath or shower, poor Dad he stopped smoking when my sister was born about 34 years ago my step mum is shocking with her smoking. Dad had been poorly for a few months up to Christmas and went to see the Dr while I was there between Christmas and New Year the Dr said to tell her to go to a different room or outside she said f off but I'm not sure if that was to Dad or the Dr!
I need to find out more about the current account game, Eb@y isn't working for me!

Think I may have to look into the account game too, that seems like a good amount to make for a little bit of work.

Hi Lilt, sending Jelly big hugs...poor little mite.
I haven't checked in for a few days and had 8 pages to catch up with, you have so many chatty MSE buddies!

Lmao at the pyjama fashion show. Peaty wins for most wanted pyjamas!! Did I tell you about the £18 mug I nearly bought myself...
:o:o Handmade by a very talented lady who made me a drinking jar for my sister... Alice in Wonderland. The one side has the Cheshire Cat on a branch with Alice looking up at him, and it says "We're all mad here"... and on the other side it says "I knew who I was this morning, but I've changed a few times since then"
:D:D
Doesn't that just sum up Liltyland? I never knew I was actually in Wonderland. Now I do! I still have not seen the white rabbitplenty of old bats yelling 'Orf with her head' recently though...
Harrysmummy I hear you on the waiting for things to happen. I am awaiting £40 cashback and £30+ back from NP0wer when they get their finger out and pay me back!! Well done for having money still thoughI know how my bank account looks by that point in my month :rotfl:
Sholly I do indeedsome with more posts than me at the minute!!! :rotfl: Glad to see you back!!! xx
Back shortly with a wind up of my day, then a financial update.

Ok so what have I been up to?
First and foremost, getting Jellytot to nursery complete with antibiotics for nursery to give her. Much filling out of forms, so much so that I forgot to pay for the months fees (doh!) so had to pay when I went back and seriously how difficult is it to work out that in a 28 day month, with 1 week of holiday, that means I have to pay for 3 weeks. Even I can do the simple maths involved. The woman however, needed a calendar, a sheet to tell her when half term was, then a calculator, and finally the computer system agreeing with the calculator to tell her I owed £36. Sigh. I know my job is maths, and I know I can be woefully inadequate at times (working out 50% Nat Ins savings for one clients pension on top of the basic rate tax relief proved too much for me and my calculator... I did however create the most epic formula to do the maths for me :rotfl: October...and my colleague was genuinely baffled. 'You can create THAT formula, and get it correct to the last penny... but you say you can't do the maths!?') but 3x12 is surely not that difficult.
Once I dropped her off, and then went back and dropped her blooming lunchbox offI took the pram to Mr L, supposedly for a pack of nappies and some minced beef, to be followed with a trip to Mr A for a few other bits.
:o £31.72 in Mr L, I am done for the week
including nappies, wipes & lots of veggies, a whole chicken, 7.5kg of potatoes & 1kg of lean minced beef. Stocked my chickpeas back up along with a few other tins like hotdogs etc that Him & Jelly go through like anything. Got home, spoke to the friendly BT Engineer working on the corner to ask whether he was the problem with my broadband and he gave me some fab tips
and then got cornered by my friend/neighbour from downstairs. That is one for a new paragraph.
Scary note writing neighbour. Remember him? Well... he has been completely off his face for days and obviously on a total bender. Going out with his clothes inside out, leaving his front door open all the time... Staggering around. Turns out (from neighbour & his cousin who lives upstairs) he has relapsed back onto coke & heroin. There are needles all over his flat, dealers at the door repeatedly during the day and night, & he has smashed a window in his living room, and burnt numerous holes into furniture and carpets. He has been banging on my door repeatedly during the day. Either that or trying to open it with his keys. Nice sturdy door but he gives me the here jeebies. He was talking absolute gibberish to Jelly when I was trying to get her in the flat after our hospital trip! So... feeling a bit less safe, plans of action for getting out if he sets the building on fire have been created (outside my front door... I would have to jump 2 storeys with Jelly, luckily onto wet mossy grass) and the door is triple locked day and night.
Once I got back, I set to and bottomed the kitchen out, then moved onto the bathroom. Every tile has been scrubbedit is gleaming! I got a load of washing on, and then cooked a leek and potato soup and a whole roast chicken as I had leftover veg, yorkie mix & mash from yesterday
Now the rest of the chicken can go to various uses.
Spent a bit of time online and bought Jelly a tonne of new books, some with CD's toolots of rhyming and classics. Pinpointed a rucksack for me and gift for my friends birthday. Still need to find something for nephews birthday but sister/nephew are on it. Trying to get all my misc spends out of the way early this month!!
Picked up Jelly & brought her back. She was a bit weird... hyper and kept asking me for cheese. We all know Jelly has never even had cheese. It is not mentioned in our house... unless I am saying she can't have it. Next thing you know, she vomits on the sofa.... Cheese?!?! !!!!!!! Nursery had no idea or would have told me. I have no idea how or where she got it. Regardless, a shower and pyjamas at 4:30... she was snuggled in my bed with the electric blanket on and fell asleep whilst I facetimed with my mum & dad right next to her. She was so solid I didn't even try and wake her up for food. I just asked her to take her medicine, which she did whilst asleep :rotfl: and then gave her a bottle of milk and left her to sleep... this was at 5:30. I took her to her own bed at about 6:30 and she barely woke. I am expecting to be awake at 5am  she obviously needed it but missed out on a chicken dinner with dairy free yorkshires. Fear not I have popped one in her packed lunch for tomorrow
Kitchen scrubbed post dinner & then came and had my 15 minutes (45 mins) of pampering for the day and am now in jamas and chilling on here.
Now... to financials

£2 received in my change, added to £2 savers pot, now totalling £16
T&C's read correctly on new TeeEssBee account, meaning I have switched back £1600 to my nearly redundant Natwide account until I figure out how to max interest on it. £2k in there earning many interest however.
Set up a telephone appointment for tomorrow morning to open a new bank account with the Yorkshire. Only 2% interest but £150 sign up is a big pull. It is all online etc and I can download an app. All good, switching redundant Natwide account to that.
This leaves me with:
Foyst Direct 1st Account
Foyst Direct 6% Reg Saver (pay in £300 per month)
Foyst Direct eSaver (for kick-out from Reg Saver)
Halifocks Reward Account (giving me £5 per month)
TeeEssBee Classic Plus Bank Account (5% on £2k)
Yorks Bank (unless they don't accept me! £150 upfront & 2% which is better than a pencil up your nose)
And probably a saver and tracker savings account with the other half of TeeEssBee. Forgot I had those but they appear to still be open!
This month I have an extra £12 from nursery half term not requiring a payment.
Also £93 from the council tax
£40 cashback coming back to me hopefully this month from TCB
£30ish from NP0wer - refund
£140 added to my electricity account before the end of March
Howzat for a financial update?
