I've just had my post, and my postman (a treasure) has told me that I should expect the backlog to take several days to get through, and that there will be another strike a week on Monday.

I'm going to make it worse...according to the news and my local post office there is likely to be a strike this coming Friday and then the Monday directly afterwards..so post may suffer some serious delays. This oculd actually mean that posting something late on Thursday 2nd class might not actually arrive until the following Wednesday

A lot of us don't have unions to back us up when we get our poultry pay rise. Why should they?

Because they organise and pay for unions themselves - why shouldn't they it's a right to organise unions ion a Democracy, are you a fascist or something or just a toady who thinks we should be grateful for what we get. You haven't got a union because you chose not to have one - either by going into a job where there were no unions or by not joining.

Right in the middle of marking and posting exam papers, which might well nudge the exam boards towards a courier service in future.

I sent 3 items first class recorded on Monday 25th before lunch time. Only ONE has been delivered so far!! and that was only this morning.
Pathetic service. They should have been delivered the next day!

There has been no reason for the delay, there was no strike action taking place before yesterday, Friday!

My postman didn't show on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday this week. Am I getting confused, have strikes been taking place all blooming week?!?!
