    Still here!:j

As I'm paid monthly, I transfer my funds to savings at the end of each month, so nothing much to report as yet. But I think things are going reasonably well.

Doesn't hurt to 'bump' this thread, hopefully we'll get some new joiners.

Also, I think people's thoughts will turn to savings after Christmas, so we should see some activity then:)

I'm still here as well...nothing much to report though xD
re-jigged my standing order so that money goes into my savings on the 27th of each month, starting from This month (2 weeks! :D) and I've also changed the amount DOWN to £200 per month...this is until I have finished paying off my credit card and become debt free - which I estimate is end of march/april, then I will up my standing order to £750 per month and will still be on target for my £6k by the end of dec.2014! Hope everyone is doing well! HAPPY FRIDAY :D

  • I'm still here too. I plan on putting the money in to savings at the end of each month starting from January. I may be able to put a little bit away at the end of December but that will be a pleasant surprise if I can. I'm setting up a DD to take the money as soon as I get paid because if I leave it until later then I know it will get swallowed up by other things. I'm also planning on putting it in a savings account with the Halifax that isn't easy to access and therefore I won't be tempted to touch it unless it's a true emergency. I just need to get my daughter's birthday out of the way first and of course Christmas. I'm really excited to start.

  • While i'm here, how do you add a footer to your posts? I want to be able to update my progress as I go along but i'm not quite sure how to do it. Forgive the newbie question
