Afternoon all. Shock horror! I'm here before it's my week...lol Although I will admit not dressed. :(

Thank you Dusty for this weeks list :D
Opti-mum congratulation on the birth of Opti-baby :D

I want to sort out my house before Christmas comes upon me so instead of hiding away on my sofa I am going to tackle this BD head on. It will NOT beat me again this year... So my plan is to get up at a reasonable time in the mornings, instead of turning over and pulling the duvet up. Get dressed before going downstairs, then tackling what needs doing before sitting down and vegging out in front of Chrimbo movies in the afternoon. Well that's the plan, does anyone think I can stick to it..lol

First of all I have to make an appt at the Dr's to get my meds tweaked again..BD has to be banished permanently :p

Dusty I didn't get my November challenge completed I'm afraid :( Thinking I might carry it over to December instead ..lol

Ok here goes, first stop make a phone call then shower etc :D

fizzwhizz how are your teeth, I suffered migranes for years saw nuerologists and all sorts. Had a dentist take out a bad tooth and the next day the head and eye pain was gone. Hasn't returned for years now.

Now that is interesting! AFAIK, my teeth are fine, I had a check up in February when we moved and registered with a new dentist, he took xrays and said everything looked good so I only need to visit once a year. It's always above my left eye that I get the pain but after an hour or two it moves down and my top left molars join in too. I am thinking of keeping a diary to see if there is anything I have eaten/used (smells can be a big trigger for me)/been exposed to, to see if I can pick up a pattern. I'll be sure to mention this to my dentist when I go again in the New Year. Thank you for that xx

ETA: Trying to update my list but for some reason, it will not strike through and if I try to add the strike tags manually, it's deleting the rest of the post
So I'll just say, I am done for today :D Decided to bump stripping our bed until tomorrow morning as I managed another dark load of clothing instead and have now run out of drying space. Weekly dinner at the Outlaws tonight so I don't even have washing up to do later, save for packed lunch boxes and the inevitable 12 glasses or so ;)

    Proud parent warning!

Fizz - do you think you grind your teeth at night? Ask hubbie if he can here/watch up to see if you clench your jaw.

I am DEFINITELY a grinder! No question! I'll mention this to the dentist too, I dunno how DH would feel about kipping next to me in a gumshield but it can't be any worse than having to endure his snoring. Sometimes, I feel as though I married a warthog :rotfl:

Thank you everyone, you have come up with more useful suggestions in one morning than several visits to the GP have achieved

ETA: Congratulations to your DS, Dusty, that's fantastic news :)

One more thing to check - are your shoes too tight? No, don't laugh - there's a pressure point on the big toe (I think) that is directly linked - I know this through my Uncle in desperation going to a holistic healer for his migraines, she took one look at him, and told him to buy bigger shoes, as the ones he was using were pressing on the place on his toe. Long story short, he bought a half size bigger shoes and never had another migraine. It's just a thought; I hope you can get to the bottom of it quickly, I know from experience how debilitating migraines are.

Short Bird :rotfl:at the idea of Mr LW being 17. Though at times I reckon he thinks he's still 17......:D

Well, haven't done my list yet but have ordered 4 large Yankee Candle jars for £30 delivered (from a HUKD deal using codes) which means Christmas shopping is very nearly finished...just a nephew to go I think! This was supposed to be a very thrifty Christmas, but Mum has decided to order all of our christmas dinner food from M&S this year for minimal stress - but unfortunately that means its expensive and as we refuse to freeload off whoever hosts christmas we will be contributing at least our share!

Anyway, time to stop waffling and start flying. Timer will now be set for 30 minutes to see how much I can get done from the list.
