Hello all,
It has been a long time since I last posted on this thread but with Christmas approaching faster than can be believed, I'm back to get on top of things once more. I want to be able to relax with my family in a beautifully clean and tidy house this Christmas rather than fret last minute about the piles of clutter everywhere.
Anyway, I've done the entire list for Monday apart from washing the windows. Just had a quick look and it won't be the end of the world if they don't get done this week.
I'm about to get the Christmas tree and decorations down - exciting :xmastree:
Other Monday Jobs
Get Christmas tree and decs down
Set up tree
Wrap DD present
Nip to shops - list items only!
Pedicure
Load of washing
Packed lunch for school
1 hour of ironing
Bank
Christmas present list - update
Have a great day everyone!CC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999
NSDs March 1/200 -
According to my sister my mum has asked for a balloon ride as a Christmas present!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Given that she is 85, with quite bad arthritis she would need a wheelchair flight!
If we were to fund half it would be £250!
My sister might have that sort of money lying around - I do not!
Really don't know what to do! Am speechless!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Thankyou for the tip! TBH though, the only thing I drink from a plastic bottle is cider :rotfl:and I'm just about classy enough to decant it into a glass before drinking. Most of the time
The majority of my migraines are related to hormones and that's what Wednesday's was, but Saturday's is a mystery. I'll have a 'dry' week and see if that helps to clear away the cobwebs -- it won't do my waistline any harm either
I think I need to go back to my GP and have a chat as I can't be this incapacitated so frequently; last time I came out with a prescription for aspirin, what a waste of time.
I feel as though I have accomplished a fair bit already this morning:
Popped to the coop after dropping off DS2 at school, they do their YS reductions first thing in the morning so I got a small pork leg joint (big enough to feed 4), a tray of diced chicken breasts which will make curry for 4 kids on Thursday, a big bag of spuds, a bag of bananas, 2 bags of apples (Spartans too, DS1's favourite) and 2 bags of finest satsumas for just over a tenner :money:
Came home, put shopping away, gave the fridge a sort and a wipe out.
Dishes WUDUPA :T -- no mean feat, they were 10 glasses and 6 mugs, plus loads of plates, bowls and cutlery, I only WU at about 7pm last night?!
Cleared down all the kitchen surfaces and disinfected
Polished the sink
Swept the floor
Folded up the big table and gave the plastic tablecloth a good scrub
WMx1, it's just doing its second spin now
Still to go:
Monday - living room, hallway, stairs
15 minutes
Clear the floor of clutter
Remove anything now which can give more space for putting the tree up (or tidy your tree if it is up)
Wipe the coffee table
30 minutes to spare ...

Got an hour....
Wash the windows
Sweep you step, tidy your porch and wash down the paintwork to make it welcoming
Write some cards if you need to
Extras
Strip airer and iron what's there, refill
Strip our bed, wash and remake
Empty all the bins
Tidy the boys' room, AGAIN
Steam mop bathroom and kitchen floors
Skinty, my DS2 gets spots at the drop of a hat. Tummy bug? Spots. Cold? Spots. Vaguest hint of a virus? Spots. Now, if he complains of feeling unwell, the first thing he does is lift his shirt so I can inspect his belly. At least it makes it easier to tell when he's trying to skive
I hope all the poorlies are feeling better soon xx0 -
Hi ladies, I am going to try joining you if I may! I have recently moved house, and cut my hours at work, I think cos I have more time to do housework I am less motivated to actually do it. Also our new house is older and bigger, and I need to keep on top of the deeper cleaning jobs so a regular rotation of jobs could really help me!!
Wish me luck xMe debt free thanks to MSE :T0 -

fizzwhizz how are your teeth, I suffered migranes for years saw nuerologists and all sorts. Had a dentist take out a bad tooth and the next day the head and eye pain was gone. Hasn't returned for years now.
Visited the nursery and love it, so much more than the last and is cheaper and nearer. Mum has said she will give the £500 deposit which is great so I will get tiny booked in for a Feb/March start.0 -
Moomins box of presents wrapped
... Dots next.. It is a large box but I am certain most of it is just box and bubble wrap which will be put in the recycling for tomorrows collection.. I am filling the neighbours bins already!

Morning all!
I've been on with the living room over an hour and it looks worse than I started... please tell me I'm not the only one this happens to??? In my defence I do have all the kids toys down here and all the tools... which have just been re-homed under the stairs with some boxes... I really should of put boxes under the stairs months ago instead of the computer chair (waste of space - so that's in the shed until we get the kids computers up)....
I think I'll stop for some dinner, I'll have to probably eat standing up lol as I've cluttered the table with all the kid's books... and that was nice and clean before I started!
ETA - On a good note, I'm getting OH to go to the tip with the old draws that we dismantled about a month ago and it's been by my front door since - I should really tell the truth it practically collapsed! Also going is some broken tubs that were the kids toy boxes - So at least I can answer the door without shame!0
