Have unlimited overpayments on my mortgage & have built up an overpayment reserve over the last couple of years as far as i'm aware I can draw back any overpayments on my mortgage should anything bad happen, is it wise to put any savings into overpayments too.

I would double check you can get those overpayments back before doing anything.

As for savings vs overpayments the rule I follow is to have a fully funded emergency fund of 6 months expenses (all direct debits plus additional necessary expenditure like groceries etc). Once you have that in place, you can get cracking with the overpayments. If you want to get more input I suggest starting a new thread and keeping this one for people reporting their overpayments. :)

This week's spreadsheet update has been done - some great progress being made. Well done all!

At the end of the first quarter we have a few people who signed-up for this year's challenge but have yet to make an overpayment. I've marked these in red on the first post - of course you can make an overpayment at anytime but just in case people are forgetting to post their overpayments on here I thought it might be useful to mark as a prompt. Thanks. :)
