#150 here with my bog standard OP for April of £500.
I was thinking about OPing a bit more as savings rates were so pants, but with the NISAs and increased limits coming in later in the year I think I will keep my savings for that. What goes around comes around.....I hope!0 -
Wow, just looked at my mortgage spreadsheet that I set up after reading a post on here over 5 years ago, and since my tracker rate dropped to 1.25% 5 years ago I have managed to pay off £62000 on my mortgage, of which a smidgen under £30,000 was OPs. It is amazing how quickly the OPs build up and how quickly the mortgage comes down. Stick with it everyone!
I am on target to pay off my mortgage in just under 2 years now and that will be 10 years earlier than my original 25 year term. Not sure how much interest I will have saved, but it must be significant. What goes around comes around.....I hope!0 -

Unfortunately we have a large amount of fencing to pay for this month, so we may have to skip Mays overpayment.Hopefully we will catch up later in the year.

MFW No.148 reporting in with an OP of £260 for the month of April.
I wasn’t expecting this month’s OP to be quite so high now that I am back to paying my monthly Council Tax. By paying this I have now achieved half of my yearly target in 4 months which is great progress.0 -
