#150 here with my bog standard OP for April of £500.

I was thinking about OPing a bit more as savings rates were so pants, but with the NISAs and increased limits coming in later in the year I think I will keep my savings for that.
What goes around comes around.....I hope!

Wow, just looked at my mortgage spreadsheet that I set up after reading a post on here over 5 years ago, and since my tracker rate dropped to 1.25% 5 years ago I have managed to pay off £62000 on my mortgage, of which a smidgen under £30,000 was OPs. It is amazing how quickly the OPs build up and how quickly the mortgage comes down. Stick with it everyone!

I am on target to pay off my mortgage in just under 2 years now and that will be 10 years earlier than my original 25 year term. Not sure how much interest I will have saved, but it must be significant.
What goes around comes around.....I hope!

Number 143 reporting an April payment of £779.28:j

Unfortunately we have a large amount of fencing to pay for this month, so we may have to skip Mays overpayment. :( Hopefully we will catch up later in the year.

    Thanks JCL

  • MFW No.148 reporting in with an OP of £260 for the month of April.

I wasn’t expecting this month’s OP to be quite so high now that I am back to paying my monthly Council Tax. By paying this I have now achieved half of my yearly target in 4 months which is great progress.
  • MFW no 57.

Have managed another op of £1,000 this month. Still not had my year end statement so will chase this week.
