Hi JCL
Number 19 posting a March op of £81.71. Only little but having sorted out the remortgage I can now get on a bit better. You have no idea how happy I am to finally be with a bank that allows me to manage my mortgage online and instantly see the balance ( so sad!!)
MiffyMortgage balance £21,251.37 2 Oct 2019
Mortgage balance £63,086.48 24th Mar 2015

2019 MFW #132 £4350/£30000 -
A bumper month for me - £2800 op.
It's a bit of a cheat though - quite a lot of it comes from my savings account. As of next week, we'll have been in our house for 3 years, and we were sufficiently close to paying off 30% of the mtg that I wanted to get there!
By op 60k in the 3 years, we've saved ourselves 45k in interest (which, considering how low interest rates are, is terrifying!) We're also now down to 15 years left (assuming no further op's, which hopefully won't be the case), instead of 22, which is where we 'should' be.
We've also already met this years target so need a new one please! Can I add a further 12k onto my original target of 7.5k please? That's really ambitious, particularly given baby Bel no 2 is due later this year.....MFiT T3 no 115, MFW 2015 no 65
April 2011 balance when mtg started 300,000
March 16 2015 balance - 165,972
