  • Thanks for you hard work this year - i paid another £27.85 today making a grand total of £770.33 this month. I didn't meet my challenge of paying off £14,000 this year, but we bought a vintage VW campervan that needs lots of work. Worst moneysaving decision ever - especially in winter when we can't even use it! :beer:
    mortgage 1 33,000. paid nov 2012 :D. mortgage 2 87,000 due 51,686.76 at july 2013, but then:new home and remortgage ... £101065.43:eek: now 74k
  • No 60 reporting regular overpayment of £280 every month. Makes a total of £3360. Didn't reach my target of £5000 for the year. Will need to try harder next year. Thanks for having this thread.

  • No 36 with a £312.60 December payment. Making a grand total of £3540.00 for the year, which is over my £3436 target - so i'm happy. Will have to wait and see what the new year brings, especially with baby no 2 due on 1st march!

    #120 my total for this month is £144.33

    Well, at last we have made it.....mortgage free just in time for the new year!! We've made it sooner than planned due to the great advice on this website of making extra payments as and when we could.....and also to the competitions forum, a couple of cash wins have helped as well. So, 2015 is going to be easier for us and hope it is for a lot of you as well
