Thanks for your hard work in doing this Special_Saver2.
Does anyone know how we can get this made a sticky, like kazza's ISA comparison chart on the ISA board? It's a really useful reference.

I've reported this thread to the "abuse" email address to ask a mod to make it sticky. Did make it clear the thread isn't actually abuse!0

Thanks to this thread, I begin to think about my saving. I realised I had been regularly saving (under a build up rainy day buffer) pretext, but putting the money in a rubbish account because I thought I needed access to all of it immediately.
I have today opened a YBS regular saver which I only thought about in earnest because os Special Saver 2's initial post.If you are at a poker game and you cannot figure out who is the patsy then guess what...you're the patsy - Warren Buffet0 -
Thanks for the encouragement, much appreciated. I have quickly made a copy of this thread in case it does accidentally get deleted!
I have updated the Nationwide acount to reflect that the interest rate will autmoatically increase by 0.25% on 1st August, in line with their rate guarantee. I will keep an eye out for the other regular savers and update them once the new rates are announced. Feel free to post here or send me a private message if you spot an updated regular savings rate before I do.0 -
How about PMing a different board guide? It should have become a sticky by now. Mine was done within a few hours.
Excellent thread.0 -
Up to the top you go.:money:0

Maybe one of the board guides could explain as to why there seems to be some reticence in applying obviously useful posts as 'Stickies'. Are there space constraints ? Would this not stop the question of which one is best coming up every week ?
It seems to be a common occurence on most of the forums I read where somebody has asked for a sticky.
Maybe they're all on their hols !!0
