Got some great bargains in Poundland today, they have double layer bento boxes with red, purple and blue lids. Got three, as you do.:D
Also six blue silicone cake cases which are perfect for Bento too.
I also gave in and ordered some picks and dressing bottles from ebay.
I've also ordered a book too so will let you guys know if its full of good ideas.
Thanks for the heads up! I am going into town tomorrow so will pop into Poundland! Hope i find some bits too!I saw a new lunchbox in Paperchase today... was erm-ing and arr-ing to get it or not... deciding to wait... lol! It had 3 little owls on the front and the middle one had a 3d effect, it also came with cutlerys which is stored inside and a divider in the bottom tier. Very ideal for bento lunches! £6 something... think i will go to Poundland first... then if i can't find anything i will get it! LOL!

Facefood, the visual creativity of Japanese Bento box.
I ordered this book too, received it about 2 wks ago and to be honest i haven't read it all yet! The book is made of matt paper and i can't bear to flip through it! LOL! It reminds me a bit of chalk and blackboard... makes me shiver!I am weird... LOL! I am loving my other bento books though! Kawaii bento boxes and Yum Yum Bento Box! Lovely GLOSSY pages...

Ohh I have to check out some of these books, but it will have to wait until after Christmas, no spare money just now.
Today's Bento for DD. She told me she missed having one over the weekend.
Homemade mini quiche (see my blog),made with leftovers, mango and grapes, homemade salsa, doritos, corn on the cob, rich tea biscuits and a fudge.
I had some leftover sausages etc from tea last night (usually OH or kids will snaffle them during the evening but I hid them at the back of the fridgeand I thought I could use them today.
We will all have quiche for tea tonight, DD doesn't mind having it again but I will make a big salad to go with it for us all.
Now I better go and clean up the mess I made in the kitchen0 -
I didn't realised you had a blog! Off to have a nose!
Thanks for sharing! I love the birthday cake you made!0 -

Am not sure in what order it's practical to pack those tiered lunch boxes but it did remind me of the old saying "Life is short. Eat Dessert First".0

Week 3 of no bento, I'm really struggling to eat all the "pre-selected" food that we get on our training course and I swear I have gained about 3 lbs too
I'll just have to keep up with you guys in this thread for my fix0 -
Hi am looking for some inspiration, for my sons 5 bday party I want to do all the children little bento box lunches, am going to put in dinosaur shape sandwiches, a fruit kebab using coffee stirrers and perhaps some of the little carrots sliced in half, mini sausages on table for kids to help them self to and then a Buffett style dessert.
Has any one any ideas of anything else I can pop in them, nothing to adventures cause there not my kids and nothing sweet cause the'll get sweet for afters, also have been looking for eclair type cases everywhere for kebabs to go on but there all really old fashioned!
Thank you0
