That looks so yummy! What is the pink and white meat? Is it crab? Looks yum! Sorry, also what is the brown stuff under it? LOL! Nosey me!
Where do you store all your bento bits and pieces? I am not sure where to buy the compartment boxes that will hold all my bits? Any recommendations? They are currently stored in the parcel box they came in!

The meat is chinese chicken and underneath is cous cous. I have a wire storage basket unit from Ikea under my worktop (where my tumble drier used to be) and I stuck all the tubs in one of the drawers. All the picks live in my cutlery drawer at the moment but I am going to find a nice tub for them, possibly a lock & lock one.
  • Wonder where mumoftwo saw the ladybird babybel :whistle::whistle:

There's a whole big list of bento blogs on my blog home page. Just stick arkonite and bento into google and yopu'll find me ;)

I'm missing my bento lunches like crazy while I'm on my training course. Wonder could I pack my rice cooker and bento box next week :p:p

Tamagoyaki pans (square omelette pans) are available in the UK. Japan Centre and Muji both stock them on the websites......

Japan Centre is £13 and Muji is £14.95

Ami your sushi looks lush!! I'd love some of that right now :)

I think I'll be steaming some chicken buns for tomorrow

Got some great bargains in Poundland today, they have double layer bento boxes with red, purple and blue lids. Got three, as you do.:D

Also six blue silicone cake cases which are perfect for Bento too.

I also gave in and ordered some picks and dressing bottles from ebay.

I've also ordered a book too so will let you guys know if its full of good ideas.

It's been a long week and stressful getting back to all my learning. I really miss my bento boxes :(
Hotel food is fine but sometimes you just want something simple ;)
