People are often slating Yodel on this forum so I thought I'd start a thread to praise them.
When they originally took over HDNL there were one or two hiccups where drivers were replaced and had to get used to the new routes etc. Delivery times became unpredictable as the previous HDNL driver in my area was regular as clockwork and you could expect delivery with an hour time frame.
Anyway, fast forward a couple of years and and I've not experienced a single problem with them and I have several deliveries a month. The driver on our round delivers consistently on time and I always receive a text message on the morning of delivery.
Here is an example of their efficiency whereby an order I placed yesterday morning was delivered today, within 24 hours

That's great to hear Chameleon although i think you'll be in the minority.....DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -
yodel delivary today guy was lovley i told him i had a few yodel parcels this week and if im out to put them in safe place but he said he cant as he will need a signuture so i gave him my number and he said he would ring as i will only be at the school or shop 5 min away
also the herms delvary guy is amazing he rings or txts if hes got a parcel and what time he will be in my area and if im not going to be there he knows where to leave it and i txt him to inform i got it when i get back home (normaly 5 min after hes gone )
its like all jobs theres bad apples in the cart but most people value there jobs so dont jepardise them
my o/h works fitting supermarkets with the electric packs to make the fridges n freezers work and he tells me what goes on by supermarket staff in cold rooms and stock rooms but like he says not all them do it and lots report it
im sure if i moved i might experience of of these horrible delivarys but i live in small area and the same two keep delivaring and know us quite well now i would never cheat a company and said i didnt get a parcel if i did its plain wrong and surely thats what makes prices go up (contributes to it) as if companys have to pay out for "lost parcels" and you keep it some one has to pay and its never the shops0 -
I have had nothing but trouble from Yodel. Lying, falsifying info, rude staff etc.... I would NEVER use them or any company which do.
Maybe it's regional though and depends who you get delivering?DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -

They are a cheap courier using many self employed couriers
many work limited hours
However here we never have a problem with them0 -
I have to admit I've used collectplus (another arm of yodel) a couple of time now and found them to be very good value, quick in deliverying the items and convenient to use.2014 Target;

Same as anyone using self employed couriers. They're only going to be as good as the staff they employ. I guess 'down here' they're all !!!!! :rotfl:DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -

Remember, this is the level of service that you should expect. Anything less is not acceptable.0 -
I wish they wouldn't leave parcels in the recycle bin, even if they do put a card through the door.This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0
