OK have now caught up with you all. Will report my INs (both Christmas gifts and Sales orders - though strictly these have to arrive). Emma and I were going to go on the sales yesterday but she is not well. She has tonsillitis. We had a look at the LUSH online sale together yesterday and I've made an order although it was diminished by the fact that I waited for her to awake and by then some of the items in my basket were no longer available.

    So, Xmas INs:-

    From MrM:-
4 x Elemis TSV (6 Piece Face and Body Indulgence Collection) containing-

Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm 30g - have tried this already and like it. Will have to see how it performs over time. The Melting Cleansing Gel of their's made my skin oily over time.

Frangipani Monoi Shower Cream 200ml - have had this before and like it. Wouldn't buy it singularly.

Pro Collagen Marine Cream 30ml - my HG product and the reason why MrM splurges on this kit for me each year. I now have a year's worth of stock of this.

Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm 15ml - never tried this before and liked it on first use. Not sure whether I'd repurchase after all 4 of them are gone but will see.

Jasmine and Rose Milk Bath 290ml - this was the product I was most looking forward to receiving from the kit. Haven't tried it yet but it smells divine.

Frangipani Monoi Body oil 35ml - really didn't need any more of this product as I still have some in my stash from a TSV a few years ago! Will try and make myself use it regularly now.

    Marc Jacobs Honey gift set
L'occitane Amber and Santal collection - used this on Christmas day when we went out. Very very nice.
Soap and bath truffle from the Yorkshire Soap Company bought on our recent trip to York and sent away to Santa.
LE set containing full sized C&P and IBST
3 x OPI bottles - I'm Suzy and I'm a Chocoholic. Am wearing this now. A little disappointed at the colour as in the bottle it looks chocolatey brown but on me looks brick red. Nice in itself though.

    Tickle my Francey
    Kreme de le Kremlin

From Emma I got a gorgeous NARS blusher pallette called Killing Me Softly which contains Orgasm (tried this one and it's lovely), Albatross, Gilda and Outlaw.

From my friend at work I got a Grace Cole Boutique White Nectarine and Pear gift set containing shower gel and body lotion. She also gave me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers on our last working day (Monday).

So, on the online LUSH sale yesterday I ordered:-

    Cinders Bath Bomb
    The Christmas Penguin
    The Melting Snowman
    Bombardino
    Shoot for the Stars BALLISTIC
    Snowman
    ALCOHOL FREE Noriko 100g
    100g SMALL Ponche Shower Gel x 2
240g MEDIUM Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly

All to be shared by Emma and I. I have a new found love for Lush soaps. Loved the smell of the Penguin and Snowman when Emma had them pre-Christmas so looking forward to using these too.

Emma got quite a few gifts from friends (plus the box set we got her) from Lush and I admit I had Lush envy hence the little order I placed. Not a bad price for it all really.

The only other thing I ordered on the sale was from the Calendar Club as I need a calender for work and for the kitchen at home. So have ordered Olly Murs for work (a bit of eye candy to get me through the days!) and a Planner type for the kitchen.

Am planning a trip to Sainsbury's in a while when MrM gets back from ankle class. Am planning to look at the pyjamas (I really thought that Emma was going to buy me some as she kept mentioning onesies before Christmas) and will pick up a copy of Just Dance 2014 for the Wii as it was a really good price there on Christmas Eve. Must get back into the weight loss/fitness routine in the New year ready for the cruise next August.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Some lovely gifts and purchases! Love reading those sort of posts. Hope everyone is having a lovely Christmas. I have been shopping  both online and in store. Lots and lots of INS to declare from today and yesterday. Didn't go buy as much as previous years though, mainly because I couldn't find any soap and glory stuff I wanted in Boots :rotfl: did get a lot in Lush though. Will declare them later on when I have got them all in front of me, plus the online stuff once it arrives.

I know, it's so sad about the flooding. How awful. Some lovely gifts Dolly. Have you had a chance to try out the Nude tude palette yet? I am eyeing that up to buy at the moment :rotfl:

I have tried the Balmbalm palette and it is very nice and very cute but if I am honest I still prefer the Naked palettes.

    I have a uu

Mandara Spa Tropical Blooms Hand Cream - 35ml, this was the last of many Mandara Spa hand creams, I WBA at some point in the future as they are rather nice.

I will have some ins soon as I too have done some sale shopping online.

  • Another IN, mums just handed me another present- a big LUSH snowfairy:T With the exception of deodrant, sun cream, shampoo and conditioner I can't see me needing to buy anything whatsoever in 2014.

The stash is most certainly back with a bang. I think I'll start saving a £1 everytime I UU something again, it was great for holiday spending or a treat when I did this before and suprisingly how quickly the money grew!
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

    I have UUs:

    20. Soap & Glory Righteous Butter 300ml - WBA but no need to do so for a while.

    21. Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado 1.5ml - hard to tell from a sachet but WMBA, very soothing and a little went a long way. Currently suffering a patch of irritated skin on my eyelid, I think this is caused by using my Clinique DD lotion, as Clinique moisturiser has triggered this reaction on my eye area before. That'll teach me for substituting an eye cream with daily moisturiser in an effort to UU!

    22. John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Mask 25ml - one of the many freebie sachets, still plenty to get through and I like this but probably WNB as a full size tube hair mask product is much better value.

I have several splutterers so am optimistic that I can redress the balance slightly this month - though have just received a notification email that my Mr B sale order will be ready to collect from tomorrow... :o

Re the sales shopping, it's nice to see others being more restrained too, I know I've bought a lot but this thread has stopped me buying for the sake of it, I've actually bought only stuff I really liked the look of and know I'll use rather than just buying things because they're cheap, I see that as a progression!

i did my end of year spreadsheet and compared to last year, I've had 229 less INs than i had in total in 2012. if thats not progress i don't know what is! I've still bought but I bought much more wisely than i used to and made sure i got the best offers i could do so i got value for money.

I've only bought things i knew i wanted anyway, all of my sales INs id seen before and decided were good value if i could find them, i still can't get over the value of the illamasqua set i got!

  • Well, it has taken me all morning just to find all the various toiletries stashed about the house and I'm still not convinced I've found them all. The whole bed is covered and my other half is astounded! He spent 10 minutes going through a chorus of "LOOK AT ALL THIS!" and "IT'S SHOCKING!" before I told him he wasn't helping and banished him from the bedroom. I think he was genuinely shocked :rotfl:

I seem to have more body lotions than anything else, mostly from gift sets. I'm a bit lazy about applying these so they always hang around long after the perfume/showergels are gone. They also take ages to use up! There's enough in my stash to keep me as slippery as an eel for the next decade I reckon.

Next task - make a list.

Well done on getting it all together! Good luck with the list - persevere and you'll soon get through it all... And then on to the using up, which is the most fun bit!
