Not done much potted over the last week been busy at work trying to clear my desk before school's out for summer! Though we closed on Friday I don't count the weekend so first official day off is tomorrow. It was my last day at my school before the big move and oh my were there tears! Totally gobsmacked at the generosity of the children, families and staff - I was inundated with kind words, good wishes and lovely gifts but my fav was the hugs and squeezes from pupils. It's easy to forget as teachers how much we touch their lives. Think it was extra hard as a class I've a special connection with were leaving for 'the big school' too (they started in the school same time as me). Came home read all their lovely cards (handmade ones are the best) and messages and cried my eyes out! Looking forward to a new challenge in a few weeks...after I finish and submit my dissertation!

Finally emptied my purse and there must be some lovely person near me who has banked their pot as in the last week I've had 6 £2 coins and a stash of £1coins too!

Total for me over the last week or so is £16.86

Big hugs to those who need one esp those who're ill it's so frustrating when Drs seem unable to find an answer!

    Hope x

    Evening all.

Deleted_User - welcome and good luck with your savings.

AlwaysHappy - enjoy your hols, have a great time.

I'm not spending much at the moment and actually had a no spend day in the shops yesterday.
    Potted 3 x £1 coins and 2 x 20p's today = £3.40.
That's me over the £700 mark and I'm starting my new pot tomorrow.

  • Nothing potted for me today, didnt go anywhere lol.

Have been having a clear out and have a ton of junk ready to stash with some other (previously sorted) junk for a car boot sale in a couple weeks. Praying the weather holds for that day as myself and DM could do with a bit of spare dosh and it would be nice to add something to the pot from it!
