Hello all SPCers, I hope you're all doing well and enjoyed a lovely weekend.

Sorry to be so late getting back to you after our holiday in the New Forest, but sadly a very well-intentioned welcome home BBQ by our Son & D-I-L has left me food poisoning which I've had since last Wednesday and still going strong!! Our Son was also affected but not DH or D-I-L!! Meanies in not wanting to share! Not to worry, hopefully it'll go soon

Huge {{{hugs}}} to all those in need of them.

Excellent news, Rosy, it's really lovely to see you back safe. Congratulations to you and everyone involved in such a terrific venture, you deserve medals! :staradmin

Very well done on the savings, Modesty, and thanks a lot for adding it to your siggy.

All very best wishes to you, Lulu, and I hope you soon recover and feel tons better. How about seeking a second opinion, especially if you believe it to be gall stones, they're agony I know! It's your body, have it taken care of effectively. Seen your latest post and I'm so pleased you're having the op. All the best to you. :D

Ruth, gall stones so often sends terrible pain all around the back, chest and arms etc too, I had it terribly for 3 years, it's likened to mirroring a heart attack - so take note of the indigestion!

You're wonderful Dad is a gem, jakes-mum!! :kisses3:Talk about saving the day. I hope Jake had/had a brilliant time, certainly a place I'd love to visit.

Belated wishes for your Wedding Anniversary, mossy, I hope you had a wonderful day...and night!

Lovely to see you back, 32b3, hope you had a wonderful time.

Marvellous pot news, Lynsey, you're doing just great yet again! :j

Have a lovely day, folks, and another tomorrow and very happy saving.

Welcome back, I hope your food poisoning goes away soon, Sue!

I'm not having an op, I've had to go back to work because I can't afford to have any more time off. Pain has returned and now my tummy feels really heavy and there's a weird pulling sensation.. Lord knows what it is...

Potted about 27p yesterday. Got to go buy some stamps later for my eBay purchases (£82 made!)

Welcome back Sue-UU, though 'ugh' food poisoning, horrible thing to suffer through :(

Jake had an amazing time in Switzerland, though he did decide to ring me at 7:40am on Saturday to tell me they had got the earlier ferry and would be back at school at 9am not lunchtime! He had been up since 3am, was happily telling me all about what they had done, typing away on fb till 11:30am where it suddenly goes quiet and I look over to find him flat out on the chair with phone still in hand :rotfl:
3 1/2 hrs he was asleep for before we woke him up, then when he went to bed that night he slept a full 12 hours  so im absolutely positive he enjoyed every minute of it.
We did have one minor mishap while he was away, during a hike, he suddenly had an asthma attack, he hasn't had asthma since he was a baby, but when he got back I noticed he was breathing really heavily and he's had a cough for ages (I just thought it was one of those colds that wont go because he won't wear any kind of warm clothes :o) so he's off to the docs friday to see if the asthma is back :o

No pennies today as I had to use DS's money to pay for the shopping as I was brassic
