"Sealed Pot Challenge" ~ 7

Hi all,
Sorry about the radio silence for a while, it's been a challenging few weeks for all sorts of reasons with last week being particularly difficult. I have been potting though, although my pot is still only half full, but at least the coins make a pleasing 'thunk' when I put them in now rather than an empty rattle.
Hope you are all well and I'm sending positive vibes through the ether to those of you that need, or just want, them (nothing wrong with wanting a virtual hug now and again!):)0 -
Thanks all for your kind words, I've been in a right state today and shouldn't have gone into work - my mind wasn't on it and I was sloppy. Got home, my oh had been working from home, we had locked all the doors and ds - climbed out of a window, (for how long?) bold as brass rang the door to come back in.
Not sure how much more my old jangly nerves can take...
Anyhoo, on a more positive note - 5 whole £s for the pot - at last, something to smile about.I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0 -
Hooray, I'm not forgotten!
How is everyone?
I've been doing a bit of potting here and there, but not much *waits to be told off* However, potting is a lot more difficult now as I changed jobs at the beginning of February. I never tend to carry cash anymore and therefore I never tend to have much change anymore. The good news is, as I don't work in a town centre anymore I'm not spending so much money and it's easier to save for the wedding next year!
I know I'm not going to reach anywhere near the target I set myself as a result, but I'd like to try and step things up a bit and see what I can pot
My OH is still well trained - he was doing some tidying yesterday and found a 1p and put it in the pot :T
I've finished university for now (until October), so I've got more time on my hands and where better to spend it than on MSE!
I've got a nice little collection of 1ps and 5ps in my purse so I'll count those and pot those a bit laterSPC '21 #0750 -

Good morning all,
Have a lovely time, Lynsey  Where are you off to?
And welcome back, dinglefoot :T
I can't believe it's already the 3rd of June...almost half way to Christmas (shhhhh ) and I need to crank up the savings in readiness for pot opening day. We are already using the car less whilst the weather is mild in order to save fuel but I need to try a bit harder to pot some cash. I feel more eB*ying coming on.....
Anyhow 50p potted yesterday from food budget and £16.50 netted from 4 x eB*y sales which I will transfer to savings once I know the buyers are happy. There now, writing that down has made me feel much better
Have a great day everyone xSealed Pot Challenge #012
