Bought next years Money pot in the easter sale at Tesco last week, it is an Easter based Pot, one of those you cant get into till you crack it, it cost £1.25. Not very MSE I know, the one I have at the minute I keep getting tempted to empty it and count up but with new one next year wont be able to. Not potted anything over last couple of days as not been anywhere to gather any shrapnel but may go home and riad OHs pockets today, he will never notice lol x

Oh left 40p on his bedside table, so that's 40p for the pot today..... will he never learn?? He is going to be sooooo surprised when it comes to pot opening time that I have managed to save some money (that's if I tell him of course!!).
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

can I join again please? I have made a red paper mache pig money box my target is £1000 :D

A very warm welcome back, nikki702!! As you've guessed you've a new No now so if you can swap it for your old I'd be grateful. Good to see you and all the best with your Target. :j

You've given up chocolate, Rosy...with all that walking you're doing? Don't you walk it off or do you have another penchant eh??! Yoga too now, good Heavens girl you'll be losing it left, right and centre..soft ones! :rotfl:
£1.25 for the pot today, sounds like everyone is still excited about the challenge, lots of us still "in".

Oh I'm sure we are, AlwaysHappy, I know I am! :j It usually becomes slacker (members posting) in the real summer months, but that's due to holidays. They still beaver away relentlessly though. :DBTW, I don't think I'd tell DH about the cash saved via him...well, unless he's the type to be throwing more at you! Good luck with that one. ;)

Pickle, potting before you could think otherwise was a great idea! :T Keep it up and pot well.

    Hi Guys,
Haven't been posting lately, but still checking in and potting pennies. Had to count the total to date as my son had to submit to the Meningitis Foundation and total up to 01.05.14 is £136.78 - so chuffed...!! Hubby rummages can be sooooo productive...! hee hee :D

That's just excellent, ToniLiz! Very well done you and your DS!!!! :T Don't forget to include it in your Total as it's still your savings. ;)

Hi ladsmadd, it's great to see you popping in, and what a weight for your pot already!!! :j That post office is so mean! Though when you say "they stopped giving us change" how exactly do you??

    anyway im still here :D

Aha...so there you are, mcjordi, and about time to! Still, you're always so good so I forgive you. :kisses3:Take care and come back soon - you hear?! :naughty:

It's hard when you're trying not to spend to still be able to save eh, little_sweetie, still it's far more important to stick with the former. Fingers crossed for more 15ps or any ps! :D

Well done, Vicky, keep doing your best!! :j

Yeah we live on an estate where sheep are present. I love it. We had 7 born yesterday. One was so tiny I was convinced that she would be one of a set of twins, esp as AB hadn't come away but nothing today. We got 5 today, 2 black twins, a black and a white set of twins (our only white lamb) and 1 more black. Monday heard me and started to bleat so I went to her pen. She ran over wagging the tail and tried to get through the bars; I'm worried how she'll be when she is well enough to go out to the field. It can't be helped though; we have to feed her every 3 hours now. Will be nice if she remembers us as she gets older and come over. Too cute. It's lovely to be around them isn't it?

Ooooh you lucky thing, Hicks, what a life! My DH used to be a Herdsman so the two are fairly similar except that the farm did spring and autumn calving. A great place to bring up kiddies too. Keep up the contact with Monday and no doubt she'll remember. :D Brilliant savings too.

Keep your heads above, Lynne, and keep saving as and when you're able. ;)

You've been missing haven't you, mummytummy? Either that or I've missed you or am losing the plot. Behave yourselves with those remarks potters! :naughty: nikki702's been with us a good while so she's aware of what's what; good of you to be sure though.

ooooooooh, let's hope you make it, Lynsey, you can do it!!!!

Absolutely no need to apologise, Ihead, many congratulations to you all, especially young Sam! :A You've had enough on your plate to worry about, and don't worry about hubby's need to take money for parking...though we all have our own thoughts about that!! Very best wishes to you and save when you can.

    Ooooh a lovely sum potted, Saver88!!!! :j

:rotfl: love a duck, jakes-mum, you make me laugh with some of the messes you get yourself into - too darn busy thinking about the room left in your pot, that's your trouble! *rolls eyes* and again. :(

A jolly good job too, cattysmum!! :naughty: Behave yourself and wait for that lovely surprise. With the new pot you'll still be able to use it again IF you gentle the cash out. See the "getting money out of Terramundi pots" bit on the 1st post. We're very :money:here. ;)

Marvellous Chi-me!! That's 2 things in a week, be careful not to sell the chairs etc. :rotfl: Great savings!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

lhead123 - congratulations and welcome to little Sam. Hospital parking can be expensive!!

    Potted 3 x £1 and 3 x 20p coins = £3.60
I'm getting quite a few 20p coins at the moment after a quiet spell. Hoping to hit £50 each with 20p's and 50p's before the BIG weigh in.

    Anyone wanting any rain??

    Lynsey

    Evening everyone :hello:

Had to go to the bank this morning for other things, so took the notes in my pot to pay in. Rather they were earning interest in my bank account than taking up precious space for coins. :D So, I've duly added £15 to my signature. :j :j The key to my sealed pot padlock is back in DH's drawer - please be aware he witnessed me taking the notes out to be fair to the whole sealed pot.

Speaking of potting, I've also potted £1.55 today! :j :j

lhead - many congratulations on the birth of your baby. x
