Ps where do you get the animations from in your texts? Xmas trees and smiley faces etc??

Well done on what you've potted, Pickle. With regards to to where the 'smilies' are: If you go to write a post to someone, you click on "Reply" as you did when you wrote your post above. Then on the right side you'll see pictures of all sorts of smilies.

If you want one for a Christmas Tree click on "More" (at the bottom of the smilies) and it will bring up a while selection of smilies that you can choose from including this one. :xmastree: :D

Play around on a post and see what you can do. Have fun!

Chucked £3 into the whiskey jar today. I get a few pounds in tips when I'm working. Now I don't have to bank them just to live I think I'll throw them in the jar. Still coming to terms with being debt free and not having to spend any spare cash on debt. Whatever is in there will pay for Christmas next year.

Managed to give myself food poisoning but while crawling to the bathroom I found 2 x 20p so it's not all bad. In the pot it goes :j
  • Oh KittyBoo, you're seriously asking all us SPCers what we'd do with roughly £10 worth of coins??? Only one answer to that from me - stick it all in the pot!!! yay.gifYou can always bank it/some when you've a good deal more, but to motivate you further for now...definitely pop it in the pot! :D

I had a feeling you might say that.
I've not been on here for a while, as I've been in bed with a chest infection. Never had anything like it.
Anyway, there was £15 to go into the pot and if I carry on like this, I'm going to need another pot. Potted an extra £7 as well as I had some vouchers from the Co-op so used them for the basics instead of the food budget.
I'm getting that careful with my money, that I don't want to spend any on a Christmas tree. I usually buy a real one but they're so expensive now. Will have a look for a decent artificial one when I feel a bit better.

I couldn't agree more, Piquant, you're no longer in need of it so pot all tips, it could mount up to something huge by next November!! What a joy in being debt-free!! :j

Ooooh Nikki, that sounds as though it must have been rotten for you. Well spotted on that 20p!

Another one who's been rough then, KittyBoo!I hope you're feeling a whole lot better by now. Isn't it strange how saving can almost make us 'tight', still it can't be a bad thing. Though if people start whispering "Bah humbug!" behind you at Christmas you'll know you've gone a tad too far!! :rotfl:Good saving! :D
