Good morning potters! :santa2:
This thread is moving so fast that I can't keep up. Each time I've done so I've forgotten what I wanted to say ( a senior thing!) or run out of time :rotfl::rotfl:
I've had payment for my 2 fleabay sales now so I'm potting £2.35 which is the nett amount after postage. Not a massive amount, I know, but it's FREE LISTING again this weekend so more items will be added tomorrow. I got DH up into the loft yesterday to find a couple more things to sell. The trouble is that Royal Mail have made the postage so expensive and complicated now that it puts people off buying the small stuff.
Dear FiL gave me a bag of shiny 5p pieces yesterday 'cos he hates them. I LOVE 'em so another £5 potted! :j
A big WELCOME to all new potters and WELL DONE to my mate & potting twin rosyq Hope you survived the bracing walk hun!

Well my feet hurt from dancing and my face ached from laughing after the works "do" last night. Had a brilliant time with all my mates. Didn't spend too much money either which was a bonus. Potted £2 last night after counting what I had left in my purse. :j:j
Potting another £1 today too.
My head feels ok too but I suspect there will be quite a few sore ones this morning lol.
Have a great Saturday everyone.

Sat down last night and DH says 'I found some roadkill for you, 20p'which reminded me I had also found 20p 'roadkill' the previous day, on the sofa when he had stood up to go make a cuppa!! Lol!!
So a grand total of 40p potted yesterday

Good morning everyone
Daily £3 potted. Also £5 potted which would have gone onto the lotto before they doubled the price.
I forgot LC2 was going to Poland, I hope she doesn't break it :rotfl:
Sue is there any possibility of asking for a mention in the weekly MSE email? I know people are waiting for the Grand Total but it might be worth a try to gee folk up

Rosy will be safe, Lynne, coastal walks on routine to her at most weekends as she adores them. Well done on your £1.
You're so right, gottogo, the thread does move along fast, but have you seen how some folk natter! :rotfl: They mostly talk money though and that's a never-ending subject as I'm sure we'd all agree!
Oh well done, nanto3girls, it's good when you get them all sorted out - even better when you pot the saving on the postage. :jHolly in between the branches! Genius! Thanks Sue-UU!

Good weekend everyone
I'm so pleased it worked out, mommyof4. We use it at strategic points in the garden to keep next doors cats out - all 5 of the blighters!
Ahh, isn't is sad when the oldest one/s starts to get suspicious about Santa, usually the boys too from my memories of ours. Now it's moved down to DGKiddies and just as the elder lads started to say "there's no such thing" we took all 5 kiddies in the car for a night time trip around the local towns and villages to see the house and street decorations. Then a very weird plane was in the sky and as it went over and across the car the lights on the plane were quite beautiful, very odd. They were in awe at it and were totally convinced for at least another couple of years! Santa won through again! :xmassign:little_sweetie wrote: »This thread is moving so fast that I can't keep up. £2.35 is still a good amount to pot, little_sweetie. Ain't that highlighted part the truth! Good on your dear FiL, bless him.
It's do good to hear you really enjoyed yourself, mumof3plusoh. All the best at Widnes with your DS.
A great tale, BlueDaisy! :j You'll have to keep an eye on wherever he sits from now on.sparky0107 wrote:Sue is there any possibility of asking for a mention in the weekly MSE email? I know people are waiting for the Grand Total but it might be worth a try to gee folk up

I'd been tempted to ask Martin, sparky, but was a little wary in case it bought more on who we never see again! Not an easy one. ETO, Modesty and I are going to keep the reminder threads going for a while (as Modesty suggested) just in case people are ill or away.
BTW, you could try some sprigs of holly under your tree to ward off your JR. Re LC 2, Poland won't know what's hit it while she's there, though if her hubby has any sense he'll put a collar and lead on her - I would!!! :rotfl:
We both went for a walk this morning and there in the fallen leaves near the entrance to a horse field were 2 x £1 coins!!!!!Have a wonderful weekend, folks, and keep on saving!
