What a cracking Mothers Day one everyone. I hope you all really enjoyed the day. We had a wonderful time with our DS in the morning, then a superb walk in the woodlands here with so much beauty and birdsong! Then DD, her DH and all their kiddies was a brilliant way to spend the evening along with our 1st Indian, delicious!!!

hi everyone, just a quick quarterly check in ;)

i am still here, still potting everyday that I can. think im doing quite well but i just cant stop spending!! im not in debt but my spare cash always goes instead of in the pot. i know what on but maybe i should get a little notebook (more money!!!) and keep a spending diary!

anyhow. any tips appreciated and maybe i need to post more often to focus my mind :)

Hiya keza! It's lovely to see you back again - BUT - if you take a look at post 1 page 1 you'll see I had a sort through of the member list as so many were no longer on MSE. So, as you didn't declare last year you'll need to re-join, though I've already added you to the list as you'll see. :DPLEASE replace your old No on your siggy with the new one, thanks a lot.

It's great to see you drop in, frugaldances, and as little_sweetie rightly says.....you're still on the list. :)

Flipping heck, jakes-mum, what a price for a bra!!! I know it's be about the best and the pleasures will be many, but I found a couple of good'ns in B!nmarch! last year, pretty darned good too. I hope you're soon feeling much better.

Good for you on signing up for the charity run, 32b3! It'll do you a power of good whilst others benefit so much. Darned good for a £10er.

We've not been to Exbury gardens for yonks, Rosy, I do so enjoy it though so next time we're up the forest!!

Cor..that was so darned lucky with the £2, LC 2, excellent work!!!!

£20 saved is wonderful for you, Saver!!!
I was feeling slightly ashamed of the jumble of bags/scarves in my wardrobe when I dressed this morning then had a mini-brainwave and decided to check the bags for loose change - found about £3 and potted it:rotfl:

You've got off to a great start, Older But No Wiser, well done on your finds and...keep tidying up! ;)

Hi Lynsey and I hope your few days a way was the break you needed.

That's terrific saving, Lost, well done you!

Im gutted still not working so had to empty the pot for food electric and to get to a job interview tomorrow still had to be done

    :(

I'm so sorry to hear you're still not working and needed to open your pot, katsta1, I'm just so glad you had the savings to fall back on. The VERY best of luck with the job interview! If not, you never know, the one you do get may be even better!! :D

Good luck with your fleabay sales, Lucy.

Never mind about digressing, little_sweetie, at least you know exactly what you need to do now - and all the best with April - sounds like you can do with it! ;)

Lynne, I read somewhere that you've NOT had a ciggie for A WHOLE WEEK which is the very best news!!!!!!! :T Stay positive and strong and - if you can go a week...why not continue!!! :j I'm right behind you. :D
Have a good Tuesday with plenty of potting, SPCers!

Just a little 13p for me to add to the pot today...

Oh and a fiver for taking packed lunch with me to work today - felt very righteous when the others came back from the pub and said their food was not very good.....(sometimes there is a lot to be said for a homemade salad :))

Some really good news on the thread in the last couple of days - makes you feel really fab x

The poor sales assistant! she did try valiantly to find a cheaper one and I must have tried on half the stock they held but all the others just didn't fit right :( I've lost so much weight (first time I realised just how much looking in the changing room mirror! I look emaciated ) that I've dropped 4 sizes!

As I said to her, when it comes to something I wear everyday I'm happy to pay the price for a proper fit and comfortable feel, same with my kids shoes, their feet have to support them their entire life so I pay the extra for properly fitted shoes.

No pennies today as popped over to see my mum to celebrate her first day of being part of the great unemployed :rotfl: she really hated that job so I'm glad she finally bit the bullet and packed it in :T she'll be looking for a new one but she's said she's having at least a week to herself before she starts :D

Sent off a load more of my try me free letters so hopefully will see some cheques in the post soon enough :j

    Hi guys
Few bits and bobs potted yesterday, not as much as I had hoped as had to buy DH a couple of pairs of jeans.

Anyone worried about this TB thingy with cats? Always something! I hope it doesn't lead to lots of cats being abandoned!
