Have started a new way of dealing with my money, I'm going to copy a few others on here and get weekly spends out in cash, when it's gone it's gone, and i'll pot any that's left over at the end of the week. So today some shrapnel went in. There might be some more tomorrow too after I've taken Mum out for lunch

Hi there! I'm back off my holiday after doing my sealed pot challenge and ready to start again, not had a very frugal month or two so ready to start again post holiday and post child's birthday!

Happy Mother's Day to those who it applies.

Some shrapnel to add to the pot including a £2 coin. NO extra dinner money this month as a 5 week month for us but next month there will be about £10 for that pot as we have two weeks school holidays yeh.

Happy Mothers Day one and all!!
Its a beautiful day here, nice and sunny, though a little on the chilly side. I'm watching oh get on with tidying the garden - then I'll make him another list of jobs for when he comes inside...... well, its once a year. My son seems oblivious.... he's on his laptop!!! He would argue he is helping by keeping out of the way.....
£2 for the pot today which is a very satisfying feeling.

I was feeling slightly ashamed of the jumble of bags/scarves in my wardrobe when I dressed this morning then had a mini-brainwave and decided to check the bags for loose change - found about £3 and potted it:rotfl:

Now I just need to do something about the mess of bags...
