Working this weekend so sneaking a lousy £5.93p into pot (3x £2 coins in my other pot) this week.

Hi all, I'm still quietly potting away when I can. Not much (had quite a few NSD's), but managed 1p roadkill and a few other coins found around the house (from DH!) this week. My pot is just over 2 months old and considering I haven't been potting very often, it is starting to get heavy now, so pleased about this.

50p of DH booty popped into my pot. Honestly, if he didn't leave it lying around then it wouldn't walk towards my pot! :rotfl:

We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 27th Nov.

I totally agree with your words, mooomin, as saving without feeling any pressure to save is why it's so very successful. Amazing what we might normally just fritter away too!

I do love those coupons Sue how I wish I could manage an american coupon shop and get it all for free! our stingy companies will never let me get that though

Darn kids/DH I thought id got away with not catching their cold/fluey thing but ugh did I feel bad yesterday, had to shelve the laptop as I couldn't deal with the light still not great today but am at least functioning and getting around, no real appetite though so think it will be egg on toast tonight

£2 coin off DH today after he went shopping with DS for tomorrow Also after 18 months of walking round in an ill fitting bra I finally bought a new one :j :j you blokes wont understand the pleasure of a brand new properly fitting one but I know the ladies on here will understand me completely only cost £48 as well, lady was ever so apologetic that it was 'one of the expensive ones' until I pointed out the last one I bought was probably nearly £100 so I felt I was getting a bit of a bargain :rotfl:

Oooo one of my favourite films has just started Manequin so must go and sing along to it :rotfl:

Just a quick hello, it's been a while since I posted I've done some mad hours at work and then although I've had this week off we've had OH relly's to stay - his Gran celebrated her 90th birthday :j: potted bits throughout but back to it proper from tommorow - have now been able to put enough aside for the car in may so rest is potting for Xmas and beyond xx

I have signed up for a charity run. It comes with free running training which I paid £35 for last time. A bargain at £10 entry I think!!
