Happy belated birthday Sue and Caz _party_ been so busy the time has just got away from me this week

Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with Miss Lilys bedroom, went out yesterday and bought her a new lampshade, bedding, blind and some foam and material for the princley sum of £76. Have spent today turning the foam and material into a seat for the little seating area grandad made her to cover the stairs section. DH and I were a little bit sad as her room is no longer a 'little girl' room :( it all looks very grown up in there and im not sure we're ready :o :rotfl:

No pennies in the pot as I haven't got any change :( so pot will have to be hungry tonight

Dot (my pup) is doing great. Very much a pain in the bum but I love her regardless. I'd love nothing more than to give up work and spend all day every day cuddling her :) She's 18 weeks on Sunday. We are currently doing the Kennel Club Puppy Foundation course and I think we're both loving it.

As for my car..... I have it back, I think it's had a lot of work done to it however my mechanic isn't the quickest at invoicing me so I won't know for a while. I'm thinking upwards of £500 though :(

Hi Ruth, I'd noticed about the stars which is the best thing to do. Possibly not such great news about the car, but it does depend on what he's done. Your little Dot's 18 weeks already! I bet she's a little devil at times, bless her. Good luck with the KCF course.

A gold star for you, Caz! A lovely welcome, and as Ruth says, there can never be too many. :staradmin I find chooks irresistible too, but we're thinking that maybe after these we might not have any more...or that's DH's thoughts, we'll see! ;)

    Great saving, themstarrynights.

mossy, that's wonderful news!!! No wonder you're so excited, enjoy the summer and look forward to your studies afterwards! :D

Look after yourself, AlwaysHappy, and enjoy the next 2 weeks as the weather's going to be lovely!! :j

Thanks very much, jakes-mum, and don't be too sad about Lily's room, at least it's given you and her a lot of pleasure during her young years. There are plenty more wonderful times ahead. ;)

Thanks to you also, Hicks. It was really lovely.

Oh dear, Lynne, it's beautiful again here today and set to be this way for a while. Hopefully it'll catch up with you soon, but poor old Scotland always draws the short straw. :(

About time you surfaced, blubella, I've missed seeing your name as it always reminds me of bluebells. So, don't forget to come out late April. :)

Hiya Lynsey, good to see you home. :D Did you have a lovely time in the Algarve...also whereabouts do you go there? Just curious as it appeals to me....after dear old Scotland.

Have a really great weekend, Nell.

A lovely crisp £10er in the pot along with another 5p found in M!rrisons!!!! Look out near the tills as that's where I found my 2 within 3 weeks of each other.

I hope you have a really wonderful weekend, everyone, enjoy the beautiful weather!

Kept all my potting until today as it's been a 'spend heavy' week with the car repair however on a positive note 4 shiny £1 coins in my terramundi today :o:o.

My wee coffee jar is nearly full with loose change too, thinking of banking this once it's full and using it as extra debt payments. The terramundi I'll be keeping until November.
