Hicks, you've made a really great start with saving, good for you. Re Nellie's roadkill, she wears magnets on her shoes and scuffs through all the muck and rubbish she can find - true!
Sue-uu that made me laugh my head off but you have given me an idea maybe i could get magnet boots for the dog four legs and all means more ground coverednot sure tilly would be best pleased though probably ruin her street cred with all the other dogs on the ski slope she doesn't even like putting her coat on

As mentioned yesterday,it was my baby's 5th birthday today. It was a lovely day,and she had a fabulous time, but for alot of the time I was feeling abit bleugh.I can only put it down to the fact that my baby is 5 !!!It's a bit of "I will never have a 5yo again. After 4 children I will never (go to a toddler group again......need to visit mothercare again......sing nursery rhymes again.....spend days at home with a pre-schooler again....)
Just a bit hmmmm.

Thanks Nellie, I'm feeling quite pleased with myself so far; although finding it difficult not to hack into my pots and get counting.... sounds like whatever you do pays offdid make me chuckle! What kind of dog do you have? Would help with the imagery :rotfl:
Just been shopping and got very cross at the till when it came to £5.99p was looking forward to lots of change to make my pots heavy; although got 2 x £2 coins so woo hoo. Got £2.26p to go into the copper and silver pots
Happy saving everyone

Hi Hicks she is a border terrier only little but can run for england she is a joy to own and loves her walks thank goodness as i would never find any roadkill otherwise
goodluck with your money finds and do be careful this weather really is nasty i have a pair of big boots which i call my clodhoppers and if i didn't wear them i would probably have spent most of the last few weeks on my bum seeing as the mud is so slippery
Tilly gets totally filthy on our walks and is as miserable as sin getting her feet and tummy dryed off but the threat of a bath tends to shut her up;)

17p in the pot today, not alot but alot better than nowt
Not having a good day today, as some of you are aware I have major food phobias which have gradually been getting worse, im fighting against them but today I just seem to be panicking about everything. Currently feeling very anxious as my usual dishes for cooking the dinner were not properly clean, so put them back in the dishwasher (don't even mention cleaning them with washing up liquid! that totally freaks me out, DH gave up arguing with me as he would wash up with liquid and then id put them in the dishwasher afterwards) which didnt finish in time for cooking so have had to use other dishes instead. Even to me this sounds mad but I really don't cope well with change
