  • Been MIA since the start of this years challenge really. I have had some big bills to contend with so not a huge amount of potting. I'm still trying to pot £2 a day from my 'pocket money' even a little in the pot will be a help come next December!

"just" 50p for me today, but to be honest if I can pot "something" everyday, the totals are going to be good. Well, lets face it - I've already beaten what I'd saved last year!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

    Evening

£5.36 potted today. I probably won't be spending any money tomorrow so might not have any change to pot.

    Have a great weekend everyone

Been to Mr S today as they have their lamb joints at £4.50 each which I thought was excellent, they are not huge but big enough for sunday dinner for the 4 of us and monday dinner for me and DH :D

DH is making headway with the garden but  is it costing some money! Not in materials, more in bloomin tools! new blades for the saw, a shovel, a wheelbarrow, a rake . . . everytime I turn round he's after something else! BUT that god awful decking is finally coming up after 8 years of me moaning my backside off about it (hate the stuff).

No pennies for me as DH spent them all :rotfl: hopefully have a few tomorrow :o and where is all the roadkill? everyone round here seems to suddenly be taking really good care of their purses  do they not know I have a pot to feed! :rotfl:

5p potted today. Went out and had a swim (I shall add, at the swimming pools!) and then had to buy some shampoo and put the change in my pot.

Nope, that was their normal price which is why I thought it was so good! we had one a couple of weeks ago and it was a really nice piece of lamb, not overly fatty :T
