Thanks for the kind words Sue ;)....

The lovely DW gave me some change, that had been keeping the inside of her purse 'insulated' :rotfl: :D :rotfl:. I said a big thank you and stuffed it into the pot, before she changed her mind .

Hope you've all had a good day potting .

    Hi everyone!
Just found this thread it took me a while!
I hope to pot a total of £900 for our wedding funds. Already potted a bit as I started a few weeks ago but still continuing to pot. Now have a running total of 53.50/900 not bad considering its not even 2014 yet and its almost Xmas!

4.00 of that was potted today

    Happy potting everyone!

  • Well today I made my pot and emptied my old penny jar into it - I always used to dip into it for 10 and 20 pence pieces - but no more!

I think there is about £5 in there so that's a nice start :D

Hello, I'd very much like to join - bit late, but still!:D

It's never too late to join us, JindoFlix. A very warm welcome to you. :grinheart Have fun saving and enjoy the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

JindoFlix, I'm so pleased you finally got here, it's a bit difficult at the moment as we have the old SPC 6 thread still running for members' declarations, plus this one - AND - 2 reminder threads! Not puzzling at all really! _pale_

Of course all will be well when/if members finally do the declaring then there will only be this thread running! :j

This year my hubby rummages will be going towards my son's trek up Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Meningitis Research next September. He has to do a whole heap of fundraising before August so coinage will be added to the "Kili pot" this time - any excuse for a good rummage.... :D

Anyway, good luck everyone at the start of the new challenge. Here's to great potting totals ....xx

Hi ToniLiz, really great news about your Son's forthcoming Kilimanjaro expedition! Very good luck to him as he's doing it for a wonderful cause for certain. Definitely every reason to increase hubby rumages!

Ah! A very good point with regard to your little darling, Mrs Cheshire. A great advantage of having toddlers!

Oh dear, mossy, it never rains but it pours for you lately does it! :( Let's hope it doesn't come to needing too much spent on it to put it right. I hope the crib went well with you DD...not DS! ;)

I did happen to find 25p sitting on the desk which must have come out of DH's pockets. Well, if he's foolish enough to leave it lying around then he's fine with it being potted. :D :rotfl:
I'm hoping to bump up my total considerably at some point... Let's hope for DH leaving more cash lying around. :rotfl:

What more can I add to that, Vicky! Always try and stay right behind him to pick up straight away...only to stop cluttering the place of course! :rotfl: Thanks for the help earlier on.

    Excellent work, Kerry!

    Well done, Habibiboo.

You're leaving nowt left behind, Lilmiss, a very fast learner! :j

It's so good to see you back, keza, keep saving wherever and whenever possible. ;)

Marvellous potting, 32b3!! Keep it carefully maintained. :D

You don't need to rejoin, Thrifty Fashionista, but please could you put your No 2101 on your siggy for me?! It's vital to have them where we can see them. Thank you.

Oh very swiftly taken, nu1isit?!! :rotfl: Well, you do need to save for next Christmas now don't you! :D

£1.91 is a great amount, hummingbird.

It sounds like you really are living up to your name, CommitedToChange! So good to hear you've changed your ways. :A

Trust it to be you holding a queue of folk up, jakes-mum, and not giving a jot! :rotfl:

You should be extremely proud of your gains, Beth, for a great occasion too.

Have a good night's sleep, everyone, and a really good saving day tomorrow.
