Hi ladsmadd, that really is good news, thank you. It's wonderful to have new members sign up, but it's equally lovely to see 'old' faces return too. How about the 1st or end of each month if it makes it easier to remember.

    Sue x

Hi Sue-uu, good idea about setting a date each month to help me remember to pop on will try the 1st of each month,
Have feed my pot £4.66 this week, money left over in purse before payday.

£3.00 in the new tin today, I had a brainwave last night, When my son is sick or on school holidays to put his lunch money in the pot.

He has £3 a day for lunch and breaks :o so summer holidays alone would mount to £90

He's off school today, he had an accident in school yesterday and I had to pick him up early, hence £3.00 for the pot.

DS2 found our first bit of roadkill this morning 1p to add to the pot. Hubby has also left some coppers on the table so they'll get added!

Wow this thread moves quickly, lots of eager savers!

Had to go to the bank this morning and got 2 x £2 coins in my change so in to the pot they go.

I saw a lady in the toy shop last week paying for all her gifts in £2 coins, I thought well done and also that will be me next year!

    C x

It is fast moving, Chrysalis, some SPCers are great natterers. ;)

By the way, that lady paying for her gifts with £2 coins could well have been one of us! If you live in the Cambridge area then we know exactly who it was!

Don't we jakes-mum!! :rotfl: If it was Warrington or Liverpool then it was LC 2! ;)

If it was a he in drag, no contest...it was sparky!! :rotfl:

People don't always notice, ladsmadd, but I get good ideas all the time...or so I think! :rotfl: Very well done on such a good feed of the pot. ;) BTW, I'll be looking out for you now on the 1st! ;)

Diane, that's a brilliant idea which would net you a small fortune!! :jBy the way, I hope he's a lot better today or will be very soon.

A good bit of spotting for your DS, Mrs Cheshire. That was good of your hubby too. Praise him well, he may just do it again tomorrow. ;)

£10 after the shopping for the UU's pot, also first bit of roadkill for SPC 7, a lovely shiny 5p spotted by MrUU!! :kisses3:

Thank you, he is ok, he fell in drama and banged his head on a door and was shaken, so I had to pick him up. He has a nice egg now and a little tender. He wants to go back to school tomorrow so can't be that bad.

Thanks so much for letting us know, Diane, I'm so pleased the school took the sensible precautions and that he's ok after a little of Mum's nursing. He'll enjoy showing his 'egg' off tomorrow. :A

Go on, Lynsey, be a devil, why not! Fingers crossed for all those 'up for it'
