    Good Morning everyone
Fantastic trip to New York, had every kind of weather you could imagine, -15 to -20 degrees upto 50F rain, snow, clear blue sky's & the icing on the cake, snow last Friday as we walking to Central Park to go ice skating. Also took a day trip to Washington DC. Totally jet lagged for the last couple of days but it was sooooo worth it.

Hiya sparky! :hello: It's so good to see you both safely back again. I'm not a bit surprised at the weather you've had, but as you say, the snow had to be the creme de le creme! :D I just LOVE ice skating though haven't been for a year or six now. What a homecoming it must have been for you both thus time with the old dragon GONE!!!!! Great to see you and say hello to J for T & I, please. BTW, I'm fine thanks, just one of those bouts.

I'm hoping you'll have a sizeable chink to pot, moomin. Fingers crossed.

Good for you, lynnsey30, the caravan will be happy about that. :D

Oh, very well done, siju! A great sum. :j

Had a quiet couple of days, but out spending for DS2's birthday party on Saturday. I saved 60p to pot today by parking further out of town and walking into the centre, so into the pot that's gone. I've also done another pocket raid in DH and this time only managed 50p, but its better in my pot than his pocket! :rotfl:

I love to hear of folk doing that, Hollygym, far better in your pot than lining the bus company's pockets. :j Ah, your DH will be happy with his pocket rummages having mounted up come November - if he knows! ;) BTW, DD means Daughter......but I think your Birthday boy is exactly that! ;) I hope he has a lovely one and all the best with the cake, rather you than me!

Good for you on the shoes sale, samtoby.

Yay.....you finished the cake, jakes-mum, and what a good job you made, well done you!!!! Wherever was your head when making that appointment????! :( Poor lass.

A good pot, Broke Kitty, though that sounds a bit like snooker! :undecided You did well anyway.

If you're weird in shaking the pot to hear it rattle, skyblueshez, then we all are.

    It's still darned good, Vicky.

Well done with the cash, Ruth, but surely you're not having rice alone are you???!

Ah...not so bad then, mossy, helped you out of a hole maybe. All the best with the running, it's always worth keeping fit, after all, why not. :j

Fingers crossed for you with the £5er, Saver88.

Meowhouse, I am so very, very happy for you - what a fantastic saving!!!!! :j:T:j

Hi gottogo! Good to see you and well done on the saving.

    1p roadkill for me today!

Have a great day, everyone, and let nothing interfere with your saving! forums.moneysavingexpert.com

PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers! You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. forums.moneysavingexpert.com Please change numbers ASAP folks.

If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!

    Very many thanks indeed.

Let's tot it up, shall we? :D

£10 left in my purse, but I'm potting £6 (with the other £4 going in my £2 jar)

I walked home again (and don't my legs know it?!) so that's £1.50 and I had a spare £1 left in my bus fare purse, so that's going in the pot too.

Finally I've got £2.08 left in my office tea fund, so that's going in as well...a grand total to the Sealed Pot of £10.58 :j

Not bad for the night before payday!

Morning folks, emptied out my purse yesterday (after paying cash for my shopping which is the first time EVER) - £3.64 for the pot. I still am amazed how liberating this challenge is.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
  • I think the Cake is WONDERFUL Jakes-Mum....but can I confess at being REALLY old because I have NO IDEA who or what Minecraft is!! :o

Adding another 71p to the Pot this morning....From next month I plan on putting MUCH more in!!
