Sorry, not sealed pot challenge related (unless it counts as roadkill? I dunno) but I've been collecting Nectar points where I can find them (like EVERYWHERE lol) and in just about 2 weeks I've got close to 3000 points which is almost £15!!! All going towards my Christmas shop this year :)

    Hello all,

I hope that you are all well and you have been managing to pot where you are able to!

Apologies that I have been MIA I am just about to go to bed but I will catch up tomorrow! I wanted to update to say that since I have been on I think I have potted around £15 - around £10 from a budgeted night out that I didn't spend on a taxi!

I also wanted to ask about paying coins into the bank, I know that money bags need to be full to the correct amount but is there a limit to how much you are allowed to pay in? I bank with Barclays and lloyds tsb if that is any help! :)

Night night all, I hope that you are all having sweet dreams

    Jo

Well I bank with Barclays and they told me that I can only take in 5 bags per day.....Which is somewhat of a PITA!!

    Hope that helps....;)

Morning all, hope all are well.
Well I bank with Barclays and they told me that I can only take in 5 bags per day.....Which is somewhat of a PITA!!

I take mine to the Post Office and pay them into my Co-op bank account. They HAVE to take ALL at once IF you are paying into a bank account (maybe the same for paying bills?), but not if just exchanging for notes.
I was actually thanked for taking in £740 bagged change as they were getting short, so nice to help them out. :D

    I potted a £2 and a 20p coin = £2.20

Off to Ikea (I think) for breakfast and having a look at more sales - not very good so far!!

Keep dropping those coins into those pots - you know it makes sense. ;)

I bank with Halifax/BoS and as long as they have a business banking counter and you bag the coin I think they take any amount. My local RBS also has a machine which takes loose coins - I love the noise it makes when you pour in a bag of them!
