A very warm welcome, ladybug1984 and Poppops. It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Enjoy yourself saving, posting and joining in the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 1st post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 27th Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
- can we put a target actually - £350.00 for Christmas 2014?
I don't know about we, samtoby, but you can. I've added your Target to your Name & No on post 1 on page 1, ok?

A very warm welcome home, Betsie2010, it's good to see you back again. Don't forget your new no.

Those are excellent savings you've made, little_sweetie!! Fingers crossed for the be!y items.

Katey1980, LuckyLucy has already been given an official welcome and No yesterday, but a lovely welcome, thanks.

Well done with bringing in DF, ruby_Eskimo!
I've been really naughty and taken £10 out of my pot to go bowling with my daughter :-o so now on £98.90

Sorry, frugaldances, but your pot is supposed to be sealed hence the name given to the challenge! Please do so, though if you think there's the slightest likelihood of you needing money to spend (or just to be on the safe side) then please take advantage of using a 'holding pot' as explained on the 1st post of page 1 to be sure.
If members, especially new members, see posts that others are taking money from their pots it may give the impression that it's common practice and everyone can do it, whereas that's not the case! Thanks for taking note. :)

amiehall, could you please pop your SPC No on your siggy for me, it's 239? Thanks a lot.

It's more important you enjoyed your week away, elizabunny, especially given the venue! ;) A very Happy, safe and healthy New Year to you also. I've just seen your lovely welcome, for which you've earned a gold star. :staradmin

Oh well done, Eyebright, that should give you a boost. :D

Ok, LC 2, though to be honest....I hadn't read it before. :o

Really sorry I didn't get back on yesterday, folks, not too great at the moment but will do what I can.

Have a good day, folks, and please - keep safe!

PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers! You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. :D Please change numbers ASAP folks.

If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!

Very many thanks indeed.
Sue x

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't be shy, we're a lovely lot, so come on in. :grinheart

Been back down the co-0p for more £5 off £20 spends :D now have 123 loo rolls in the cupboard, will be back up there later for another 7 packs, plus they have the taco boxes on £2 so will stock up on them too as my lot looooove tacos! and being gluten free is an added bonus :D

Am trying to get rid of my darned sofa as had a phonecall today saying my new one thats not due till 16th is at their warehouse and they have a van passing tomorrow  at the minute I cant even give the thing away! even with an electric recliner with it  if someone hasnt asked for it by tomorrow night we're gonna have to take a saw to it and take it up the tip which is a shame as its in good nick :( cant even get the charities to take it as the recliner no longer has its flame retardent tag on it as DH in his infinite wisdom cut it off with a pair of scissors

Hi potters,
Full of cold today and feeling yuck. Walked the hound twice, and now snuggled on sofa with the heating on. Potted £2 plus 70p change found in my waterproofs.
Keep dry and safe,
Caz

Oh dear. I have stupidly run myself up a bit of high catalogue bill and am now panicking  So tonight I'm emptying both my tins and am going to put it towards it so I'm not paying interest. Makes more sense to do this then let the debt build.
So mad at myself for getting myself in this situation in the first place  feel free to give me a telling off (hangs head in shame)

Shall report back later with the amount I'm going to bank and shall pop it on my sig too

Twisted Cherry, you say you hope to save £500 so I've put it as a Target alongside your No and name, but if you'd sooner I take it off then gladly I will.

Saver88, I think we can all understand and sympathise with you as these things are, sadly, easily done. Get it paid off just as soon as possible then come on back and start off again. Your No and name stays exactly where they are so, we'll be waiting when you're ready. See post 1 of page 1 and you'll see what I say about such times, so please don't worry. At least you explained the situation, all the best with sorting it asap.

Love, Sue xx :kisses3:

Well done, jakes-mum....and if any of us get taken short we'll know where to come! :D

Get well soon, Caz.

Excellent resolve, maryarm!! No matter what, always remain focused and strong! :j

Hi Saver,

I can sympathise, but luckily it is the start of the year so you have loads of time to catch up again :)

Good luck,
