Hello from one of probably a crowd deciding to sort their finances out with a new year.

Also first post and challenge on MSE! Please can you add me with a target of £300?

Second challenge will be sorting out how the signature works once I've got a number! :rotfl:

Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 27th Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.

to get a signature click "user cp in the green bar then go down to edit signature hope this helps

Please can I join your challenge...I managed to save some money in an old jar last year for a holiday but i'm hoping by sealing it this year it will be less of a temptation when my wages run out at the end of the month!

This is my first post so i'm a little slow working my way around some of the forums but feel this is just a great time and place to start with a new challenge and some motivation to clear my debts

I have saved £6.14 in my pot so far this year...just need to seal it!

welcome to our forum and to mse its like a family and gets very addictive but is about having fun and saving money

if you click the "thread tools" button on the green bar at the top of this forum u can subscribe to it for easyer finding later on

to find subscribed posts press "user cp" on the upermost green bar scroll down on left till u see "list subscriptions" and its in there

Welcome all newbies to the fold - this is a great welcoming bunch of potters x :wave:

Well some loose change for me today & a few odd pence change from a KFC as a treat as its was my Dads birthday and wanted to spend the time with him rather than cooking after work x

I have a open with a tin opener pot with a piccy of a couple of kittens on ... a bit twee but my Mum calls me the crazy cat lady! (I have 3 meows) I'm glad I can't see in it as that would drive me insane and would definitely not make it to the grand opening day:T

I can't believe what a really great vibe we have going on with everyone's news and encouragement for each other. As someone who has not been a member long I feel very proud of what we are all achieving even if sometimes its a few pennies that are being saved or £££ because we have had more of a thrifty week than we'd originally planned it all pots just the same:j
I get very excited at the thought of catching up with how everyone has been doing of an evening! Can't even remember what I did before:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:


Finally for today....BIG THANKS to you Sue-UU I can't believe how much time you must spend on this thread ensuring that everyone is made to feel special & welcome with your little individual notes of love and encouragement - you most certainly are the glue that holds it altogether xx I'm sure others have said it to you before (many times) but thankyou &long may you reign.
