Been out to see my Great Aunt she's lives in a care home. Women in my family live long she's 94. Found a lovely fiver in my coat that I haven't worn since we broke up for Christmas :-) plus went for a birthday present for BIL , on sale of course and got 2x £2 coins . All nicely snuggled in my pot.xx

    Hello everyone :D.

DW's at work again, that fr**cycle microwave, doesn't know the cleansing it's going to get :rotfl:. She's had Christmas Day and New Years Day off :(, but she needs to get the work done. I however, have to: keep the two DD's entertained today, from causing mischief, winding each other up, do some jobs, and make sure they have fun :rotfl: :D :rotfl:. Today they're 'tag team' attacking me  :rotfl: . It's okay though daddy's gotta a plan ;).

Yes LC, sometimes when I look in the mirror I see this too :A. Sometimes though, I can smell a slight burning smell from somewhere, and feel a warm glow. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I don't know what, that's all about :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Anyway, I've stuck a potato/bacon style concoction, on in the slow cooker :D. Roll on tea time....Baaaaaaacooooooon :rotfl: :j :rotfl:.

A few more lovely pennies for the pot today , it's official 'house kill' :j.

    Happy Potting everyone :D.

Potted £4.?? from my holding pot, sorry, didn't count it all because the kids were winding my key!!!!!!!! Lol

Oh, almost forgot........also potted a £5 Morri5ons voucher..........but think my good deed in November will be to donate any vouchers I have to the local food bank...........not very money saving for me but I have been there when all I have eaten is toast, just so the kids can eat, so I really want to help them :D:D

6 x lovely £1 coins in the tub today and made my mum £3 on FB selling a pair of candlesticks for her that she hated and was going to bin  (seriously starting to believe I was adopted or swapped at birth with these parents that bin things before even trying to flog them!!)

DH was on a mission today so we cleared out the 2 cupboards under the stairs, took 4 bags to the charity shop and have a new pile of stuff to put up for sale tonight :D gotta sell stuff to keep feeding my pot :j :j

  • Hi jakesmum sorry to be a pain 'cos I know you've explained all this before but how do I find my local FB selling page please? Things seem to sell quickly on there for you. I use fleabay but each listing takes a week, as you know. I suppose FB sales are collected? The only problem might be my remote country location :undecided Any tips much appreciated!

DH bought us lunch out so I won't need the change in my purse and it's chinked it's way into my pot ( about 60p I think) :D

Oh nu1isit? you do make me laugh :rotfl:Your DD's are so lucky to have such a fun Daddy :rotfl:

    Happy potting everyone x

  • I found a penny today but I handed it over to my Mammy like the good child I am. She's well into the idea of 'find a penny, pick it up....' so nothing in my pot today.

Car is going to the mechanic tomorrow so I'm hoping he's full of the Christmas Spirit and fixes it cheaply (I suspect its going to cost a fortune) so I can pot the change.

Probably best to start praying now.
