  • Hi All, I hope it's OK to join you again this year as I explained on the £2 savers thread I haven't declared a total as my pig is not full so I'm waiting for that - I've no idea how much is in there but I've been feeding her since October 2011, she's huge and getting incredibly heavy though
I enjoy reading how everybody's doing and seeing all the hard work that's put in.
2014 20p savers club #2 I've given up trying to keep track of how much that pig eats!
2014 £2 savers club #3 - I've no idea, but the pig is beginning to get mighty heavy

Of course you can join us, Kate_fixing_it. A very warm welcome to you. :grinheart Have fun saving, posting and enjoy the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

Kate_fixing_it, very best wishes in being debt-free by October - and having a nice pot of savings to look forward to! You'll be so thrilled you did when next November's here!

Sue UU - Yes I am a pretty busy lady lol. I am a full time student, parent governor at a high school and also volunteer one day a week in the learning support department at the same high school, on top of looking after the 4 kids, 2 dogs and lazy husband:cool:

However, I will try my best to get organised enough to take my own lunches/drinks to uni:money:. I spent nearly £6 last Thursday on a sandwich a packet of crisps and 2 drinks!!

Nothing potted today, yet. My husband did mention he had some change in his pocket so I will try to weedle some shrapnel out of him :rotfl:

Oh Mel, what a fiasco when banking your money, but thank goodness you had a good teller to make you feel better about it all. :A

By heck you most almost work yourself to a frazzle girl!! A shame you haven't got hubby 'with you' a bit more though. :( Even more reason to get that cash from him! ;) What extortionate prices your Uni charge students, that's wicked and shouldn't be allowed. How about making yours the night before and popping them in the fridge?! Well done with being a volunteer work!

Hello again, bladerunner, it's good to see you, thoigh there's never any need to re-join us, once you join up that's it. It sounds as though your pig really is HUGE one if you've been saving THAT long!!! Still, I really look forward to hearing how much you're able to save when you finally open him up! :D

Hey Flat Eric, you be careful Father Christmas doesn't do a detour into the roof for that Terramundi on his way down the chimney! :xmassmile Just a thought.
    Another £20 potted today.
Mom gave me another £20 for helping her out yesterday. I used to always refuse to take any money she offered but now I take it.

Does that sound really bad :o

That depends, newlifeahead, can she really afford it? If so and it makes her happy to help you out, let her do so as she probably feels really pleased to help - especially if you're helping here anyway. ;) She sounds a lovely lady.

I'm glad you found your way over, Marg. Isn't it marvellous when you tot up our savings over the years of SPC, and the £2000 for you is brilliant!! :j Good for hubby, you see what a good influence you are! :grinheart
Hi tatabubbly. It's ok, you don't need to be signed up again, once you're in you're in to stay! Good saving this year now you're settled.
Not long until it's Christmas now, potters, already the 1st of December! Best get saving well for the NEXT one! :xmassmile

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't be shy, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheart
