I went shopping today, allocated a budget and came in under at M&S - I had specifically seen the items I wanted online, plus school shirts and a reduced 2014 calendar

I pretty proud that I kept well away from Next, its on my way home, my real weakness year after year and I was tempted, but refused to even look at it :T

    £1.50 potted.

I hope everyone has had wonderful Christmas and Boxing days.
House is sooooo untidy at the moment (4 children ripping open Christmas presents yesterday morning, then us being out all day for the rest of the day, plus all day today.)
In the name of tidying up,today I potted a £20note,a £5note and about £10 in £1/£2 coins that have been sitting on my kitchen bench for weeeeeekkkkkks(£20 note mentioned here on 12th Dec as cluttering up my kitchen bench).
All in the name of tidying, you understand............:rotfl:

  • I hope everybody enjoyed their Christmas. We had a busy day yesterday, so today was spent very quietly.
Sue I have finally managed to change my no. I have to keep referring to the instructions you gave me years ago.
I have decided that my total for 2014 will be more than I managed last year, I hope that's okay.

My sister has a piggy bank and I'm sad to say I fed it some of my change earlier!? Very generous of me... Can't wait to get home and feed my own tub. Felt a bit mean carting a tub of change home with me...
