Hey everyone, what a fantastic total for SPC6, really spurs me on to trap every penny :)

I had a fantastic weekend. My two DSs really make my heart sing! DS1 arrived home from uni on Saturday night and before I knew what was happening a glass of wine was thrust into my hand and I was instructed to hand over the shopping list. He and DS2 trotted off to Asda and Lidl :)

Our beloved DH/dad passed away three years ago so every Christmas we dine at his favourite Indian restaurant and laugh and recount numerous silly things he got up to - and tried to blame the boys for!!! So we're going tonight and I'm really looking forward to it.

Oh and does anyone else cry at White Christmas?? Was driving into work this morning and good ol Bing came on the radio, tears everywhere! Happens every time....

Wishing you all a merry, money potting one just in case I'm not back on before Wednesday. Have fun x

I don't cry at Christmas songs etc, but your 2 sons bought a tear to my eye unexpectedly when I read your post. What sweethearts the pair of them are. I hope you all enjoy your meal this evening and have a lovely Christmas

  • Such a great total for SPC 6:j

Well my evil plan of not going to the bank is working a treat, OH now remembers his own pin number (this is a huge achievement) & actually has money from his very own bank account in his wallet. Cue lots OH rummages bless him don't think he knows what I'm up too :D. I relocated a £10 note last night, I have £5 note & change left so will chuck it in the pot:T.

    Good evening all.

Hmmm, went out to buy the bird a bath as hes now trying to wash in the teeny tiny water trough, made the HUGE mistake of taking Miss Lily with us and he ended up with new toys, fruit sticks and for some unknown reason (though lily insisted it was a vital purchase) a dogs ball  The thing is nearly as big as he is and made of solid rubber! didnt stop him having a good peck at it to see what it was though :o

He has taken a shine to a broken yoyo though and has already chewed through 2 strings :rotfl: Spent a bloomin fortune on that bird and he wants a cr*ppy yoyo from Miss Lilys school cracker :rotfl:

On the plus side, having spent said small fortune, I had some change to pot :D

Ummm for the bird :rotfl: never had a dog, my daughters mind surprises even me at times, she was insistent that George needed a ball. Was quite funny watching him at 4 inches tall running round the floor with a 3 inch tall ball chasing him :rotfl:

    Evening All,
I'm not sure if owe someone an apology after nearly breaking the coin machine at the bank when I finally got round to paying my 2013 total in. A lady was standing behind me with a few bags of coins too, but I left the machine spitting and sweating after trying to count my coinage - so I'm sorry if it was a fellow SPC-er...! icon7.gif

    xx
