Oh well done everyone, cant wait till my savings are counted and included next year, I dont have a personal goal so anything is a plus.

Few bits of silver into the pot at the weekend, not a lot but we dont have a lot!

Hey everyone, what a fantastic total for SPC6, really spurs me on to trap every penny :)

I had a fantastic weekend. My two DSs really make my heart sing! DS1 arrived home from uni on Saturday night and before I knew what was happening a glass of wine was thrust into my hand and I was instructed to hand over the shopping list. He and DS2 trotted off to Asda and Lidl :)

Our beloved DH/dad passed away three years ago so every Christmas we dine at his favourite Indian restaurant and laugh and recount numerous silly things he got up to - and tried to blame the boys for!!! So we're going tonight and I'm really looking forward to it.

Oh and does anyone else cry at White Christmas?? Was driving into work this morning and good ol Bing came on the radio, tears everywhere! Happens every time....

Wishing you all a merry, money potting one just in case I'm not back on before Wednesday. Have fun x

Hellloooo Fishcakes!! :hello: I wondered if you'd ever return and I'm really thrilled you have. Welcome back! I had to have a root through all members who've not been saving with us for a while as we had in excess of 2,100 all told. Anyway, it's far easier to manage now, but since doing it....most of the oldies are returning! :rotfl: Have a good saving year, Fishcakes, a Merry Christmas too.

Welcome back to you also, Determined diva!!:hello: It's so good to see folk return to the fold as it means (I hope) they're more determined than ever. All the best DD!!!

Chocolates Emily?? oh YEESSS!!! :j

None of us do at this time of year, Sams, but we've a good long while to do our very best to keep adding to what we've already saved. Next Nov and your part of the GT will come soon enough and you too will be elated. :D

Oh bless your darling Sons, Jellybaby, they are obviously wonderful to you and think the world of you, marvellous! You all have a splendid time tonight and no doubt your hubby won't be too far away.

I'm glad it's not just me that gets so emotional with carols/songs. I always belonged to our Church choir, but these days can't even go to a Carol Service as I start welling up as soon as we go in let alone when singing! I'm sure it affects us more when we're a bit older. Have a really lovely time with your lads. :kisses3:

Another good pot, nikki2002-2008!!! :D You too will be a part of the GT next year, it's a great feeling.

PLEASE, everyone, TAKE GREAT CARE if you need to go out and remember - nothing's worth risking your life for!!

PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers now. You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. :Dforums.moneysavingexpert.comPlease change numbers ASAP folks.

If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!

            Very many thanks indeed.

            Sue x

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't be shy, we're a lovely lot, so come on in. :grinheart
